RAJON RONDO
The answer is Rajon Rondo. LeBron said on his podcast he is very suprised that Rondo is not coaching. Said rondo is the highest IQ basketball player he has ever played with and would make a hell of a coach. Rajon also stated that he would love to coach at the college level. With sprinkle sprinting to UW, I really do think this would be a great coach. And btw, what player wouldn't want to play under rajon rondo? imagine the names we could get to spark interest in coming to the aggies. Just a thought. Maybe farfetched but I wouldnt sweep it under the rug.

Re: RAJON RONDO
Is he currently coaching somewhere? If not, he doesn't have the connections and relationships yet in the NCAA, AAU, and recruiting scene (yet). If he is that much of a basketball mind, give him an assistant job.

Re: RAJON RONDO
Jerry Stackhouse, Penny Hardaway, Juwan Howard, all recent examples of NBA players that couldn't get it done as college coaches - and they had high profile jobs. Stack and Howard both fired this year. I'll take someone with coaching experience over a flashy name.

Re: RAJON RONDO
Patrick Ewing bombed too. Yeah a proven coach over a big name player anyday. And there is a difference between an actual coach and a "player who is a coach on the floor." They said that about Steve Nash and he bombed as a head coachAggie702 wrote: ↑March 20th, 2024, 11:58 amJerry Stackhouse, Penny Hardaway, Juwan Howard, all recent examples of NBA players that couldn't get it done as college coaches - and they had high profile jobs. Re: RAJON RONDO
The answer would be hell no. Just because someone was a player does not make them a good coach. We should go after an experienced coach not someone who was a former player that wants to get into coaching.

Re: RAJON RONDO
I don't know if there's a worse hypothetical coaching fit than Rajon Rondo and Logan, UT.

Just a Chappelle show Rick James joke. Rondo might be a great coach. Id prefer someone already proven thoughrickjames23 wrote: ↑March 20th, 2024, 2:10 pmyou are totally right. I wouldn't want to rely on the greatest basketball player/mind of all time

Re: RAJON RONDO
im rick james b1tch. hahah love it. I see what you are saying. Haven't been paying to much attention to the whole sprinkle situation just because i think he is definitely gone and anything else said is just false hope or outside noise. I would imagine andy hill has to be our number one guy to get tho. especially to keep the team and recruits MOSTLY intact at usu right?Aggie formerly in Hawaii wrote: ↑March 20th, 2024, 2:12 pmJust a Chappelle show Rick James joke. Re: RAJON RONDO
If he can keep osobor, Martinez and falslev here, he definitely should be on the short list.rickjames23 wrote: ↑March 20th, 2024, 2:16 pmim rick james b1tch. hahah love it. I see what you are saying.
