I'm still having a hard time deciding

Post by GameFAQSAggie » December 25th, 2023, 1:03 pm

if I consider it more of a nightmare to get exposed in conference play and find out we were never that good and only had an inflated record cause of a weak schedule, and finish with a losing record in conference play, OR get another NCAA bid followed by another first round debacle.

I would always rather have a 1st round exit than not go to the tournament.

Agree. Anything can happen in one game. I’d rather be playing in that game than not. Can’t win if you don’t play. It’s not a shame to lose in the first round. In fact, at least half of the teams in the tournament lose in the first round..

I would rather win the NIT than exit in the first round of NCAA. But that is just me.
