Bowl Eligibility Tracker
Here are the games today impacting bowl eligibility. My recall is if more than 9 punch a ticket, a 6-6 team will be left out.
Rice at North Texas - NO NEW BOWL TEAM
Auburn at Alabama - NO NEW BOWL TEAM
Missouri vs. Arkansas - NEW BOWL TEAM
Michigan State at Penn State - NO NEW BOWL TEAM
Miami vs. Pittsburgh - NO NEW BOWL TEAM
Georgia Tech at Georgia - NO NEW BOWL TEAM
Vanderbilt vs. Tennessee - NO NEW BOWL TEAM
Ball State at Miami (OH) - NEW BOWL TEAM (but also one eliminated)
Buffalo vs. Kent State - NO NEW BOWL TEAM (but UBuff has one more chance next week)
Louisiana at Texas State - NEW BOWL TEAM
Georgia Southern vs. Appalachian State - NEW BOWL TEAM
Florida Atlantic vs. Western Kentucky - NO NEW BOWL TEAM
UAB at Louisiana Tech - NEW BOWL TEAM
Southern Miss at ULM - NEW BOWL TEAM
UTEP vs. UTSA - NO NEW BOWL TEAM
NMSU and Buffalo will carry into next week. NMSU needs to hope the SJSU game gets rescheduled and that they win. Buffalo just needs to beat a 1 win team on December 2.
To be completely honest, I have a hard time seeing any of the extra MAC and C-USA schools getting in over us anyway, so I am not particularly worried.

Army won't get eligible. Two of their wins are Colgate and Villanova which they can only count one of.

Bowl Eligibility Tracker
UTSA came back from down 17 to UTEP in the 3rd qtr to tie it up. Let’s go Roadrunners!
Update: UTSA completes the comeback and keeps UTEP from bowl eligibility.
UAB just win though so they claim a bowl spot.

Oh yeah, lol.
We’re close to being comfortably bowling. Just a few more “no bowl” results.

The Saggies are 5-7, they wont' be bowling this year even after rolling Liberty Bibertyineptimusprime wrote: ↑November 26th, 2022, 5:07 pmOh yeah, lol.

OOOOps, I forgot they have to play San Joser in that make up game after the death of one of the SJSU player. So the SAggies could become BE.

They are 5 - 6. They have a makeup game against the josers. Michigan State is out of the picture.ViAggie wrote: ↑November 26th, 2022, 5:26 pmThe Saggies are 5-7, they wont' be bowling this year even after rolling Liberty Bibertyineptimusprime wrote: ↑November 26th, 2022, 5:07 pmOh yeah, lol.

Re: Bowl Eligibility Tracker
5 have punched a ticket. There are 3 games still going that impact us, and up to 2 more games next week, so all we need is one loss in these 5 games, right?

Yeah. Really though, I think it’s done. I don’t see NMSU, Buffalo, etc. getting a bid over us even if they get eligible.ronburgandee wrote: ↑November 26th, 2022, 6:34 pm5 have punched a ticket. App State misses a 30-yard FG at the buzzer in a tie game. Here comes OT.

Re: Bowl Eligibility Tracker
NMSU has not played 2 FCS teams only 1. If they play the make up game against the Spartans and won they would have 6 wins and be eligible.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑November 26th, 2022, 9:42 pm

Agreed. I hope we go to a bowl game that isn't an automatic MWC tie in. It would be fun to just have a change.Aggie84025 wrote: ↑November 26th, 2022, 10:22 pmIf UNLV goes I hope they get put in the potato bowl and the Aggies get a better location.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑November 26th, 2022, 9:42 pm

SJSU does not want to reschedule the game so NMSU is looking at playing a FCS school which would be the second

Re: Bowl Eligibility Tracker
If San Jose won't play the game they should just consider it a forfeit at this point and let NMSU into a bowl game over any 5-7 teams.

Re: Bowl Eligibility Tracker
Agreed there is no reason the Spartans should not be playing NMSU this weekend. They knew last week they were not in the championship game. That is enough time to plan.ProvoAggie wrote: ↑November 27th, 2022, 11:17 amIf San Jose won't play the game they should just consider it a forfeit at this point and let NMSU into a bowl game over any 5-7 teams.
