That is all. This isn’t even fairly debatable at this point.
Give it up already.
BA will employ who he will.
The offense isn't that bad.
You want to see an offense? Watch Andy Kotelnicki’s offense at KU. It’s beautiful.
We could trade one 6-6 offense for another 6-6 offense!
LOL. One team is 6-6 playing in the Big 12. One team is 6-6 playing in the weakest MW ever. USU would have won maybe two games against the schedule KU played. Maybe 1.
It’s still Kansas though, right?

Your point? The fact that it’s Kansas underscores how miraculous what Leipold and co. are doing.

I thought we should have hired Lance Leopold when we had the chance.

I always hate when people make that arguement. Kansas also has access to B12 money and has better recruits and thus better players than us…of course they would fare better than the Aggies in the B12.

Tucker is not perfect but considering what he did last year with those weapons and how he adjusted to what we had this year I think he’s just fine for the job and I’m certain BA feels the same way.

Both teams are 6-6 against their peers.

Tucker isn't horrible and does not need to go, but he's not a world beater, either. He had a lot of talent last year, and that allowed him some leeway and covered up some marginal situational play calling. This year, the playbook or timing of the calls do not seem well adjusted to the talent. Last year we could constantly launch 40 yard pass plays on 3rd and 4 and come up with it more than half the time. IMHO, this year requires more TE play, roll outs, 5-8 yard slants, etc. Tucker called a good second half, but, it also helped that BS's two star defenders went down for the second half. Players make the plays, but the last series of calls to win the game were not great. Everyone saw the QB draw coming, and when you need a TD to win, it does not hurt to run something which confuses or catches the D off guard or guessing. We wen't predictable and safe. A TD in that situation is not a guarantee, but the play calling in that situation was not inspiring. I like Tucker, but I'd like to see him make use of everyone available to him.

Go back through the board and look at the OCs the board had loved and hated and look at how those OCs have done since leaving and you'll find two things:
1. The board hates most OCs
2. Who the board hates/loves is not a great indicator of how well that OC will do away from Logan.

This board sucks at OC evaluation.

I don’t really think it’s been true that Kansas has had better players than USU. USU and Kansas are very often recruiting the same dudes. A Kansas starter transferred here last year and didn’t play at all.

Tucker…. Was it his call to stick with Bonner? Blake implied so, but I think that was BS.
His play calling is better than average. Just like Yost or Wells or all the others, they are as good as the talent they have. Can he recruit? Maybe that’s the question.

An Alabama WR just left the team after not getting on the field. I certainly don't think our talent is on par with Alabama.
