Poll: 2022 USU football record
I know there is a thread already for picking wins, I just like to get a bit more data behind it.
- Poll ends just before kickoff of the UCONN game.
- Re-voting is allowed up until the poll closes.

The Air Force and CSU games will make or break the season. Win both of those and we'll be in great shape going to Boise.

Re: Poll: 2022 USU football record
Unpopular and probably unpatriotic opinion: AFA might be the dirtiest team we play outside of BYU-Provo. That late hit by 94 that took Bonner out of the game was one of the worst I've seen watching football. I have zero problems with cut blocks when legally executed. They suck for defenders knee health, but are legal. There is a lot after the whistle and not legal that AFA does.NavyBlueAggie wrote: ↑July 25th, 2022, 2:37 pmUSU78 wrote: ↑July 20th, 2022, 4:04 pmBeating someone at your place is holding serve.

I’m a bit surprised many voted that a win over the Kitties in Provo is much more likely than a win at Boise. I think BYU-Provo has the better team than Boise. I’m not completely sold on Boise yet.

I was going to say the same thing. I picked us to lose against Boise, but I would have put our chances of a win there better than in Provo this year.AGGIEinIOWA wrote: ↑July 25th, 2022, 3:36 pmI’m a bit surprised many voted that a win over the Kitties in Provo is much more likely than a win at Boise. That being said, I want to believe in the way the guys that voted for a 12-win season believe.

I'm in this camp. Re: Poll: 2022 USU football record
I don't think this opinion is sour grapes on my part. I really believe there is a bias in favor of AFA on the part of MWC officials. Maybe it's the whole "they're going to be putting themselves in harm's way for us" thing, but I really feel that AFA gets away with murder. How many calls have we all seen go their way, even on our own field. And it isn't just us. I think it happens when they play other teams as well. And it isn't just the unsportsmanlike conduct penalties. How many fumbles were called incomplete passes? How many pass interferences weren't called? Frankly, I wish they would move to the AAC to be with Navy. I would gladly fill their spot with NMSU, UTEP, Texas State, or UTSA.aggies22 wrote: ↑July 25th, 2022, 4:28 pmIt's straight up bull$hit that the white hat just stood there and let that happen. Re: Poll: 2022 USU football record
Just to keep piling on AF…one of the dirtiest players to run through that dirty system has to be Weston Steelhammer. I recall very well Devante Mays had been nursing a knee injury and had been out a few games and was finally coming back for the AF game. He comes in and in his first play that uberdouche Steelhammer instead of assisting on the tackle and making an actual football play he dove straight at Devante’s bad knee. Cheap and dirty…I was really hoping we would find a way to retaliate but no luck.

I firmly believe the problems of AFA players being dirty stem from the mega turd they have leading their program.
