Neemi was absolutely fantastic in this game. Even beyond the highlights, he did a lot of little things well, including defending Paolo Banchero 1 on 1. Queta moved his feet well enough to stay with Banchero in space and also stood his ground in the post. Banchero got into Queta's chest and scored once, but Neemi forced a miss every other time he was guarding Banchero.
The Kings were largely running their offense through Queta when he was on the court. He missed some open cutters and still has ball control issues, but it's encouraging that the Kings are giving him that responsibility. Plus, Doris Burke and Mark Jones were heaping praise on Queta throughout the broadcast.
If you don't mind sloppy summer league ball, this was a VERY entertaining game with a wild ending. If you have ESPN, they have the full replay available online.
Can't wait to see Queta vs Chet on Wednesday.

Every time I see him moving to the left in that video I worry they're going to call him out of bounds.

Dont know if I have ever yelled at my TV more. Had to rewind to justify it to my family watching with me.

I was astounded to the point of rewinding the play about 4 times and taking a picture of my TV if the point at which Queta s foot was closest to the baseline. The ref was looking right at his foot when he made the call.

That is only because USU is the dregs of the conference who can't pull its own weight athletically or academically. Or academically, it isn't like USU had more than any other school in the conference with 190 of the 1,427 MW scholar-athlete awards for 2021-22. And don't even start with the school's endowment since joining the MWC.
