I haven't read the Mountain West bylaws but I'm 95% sure this is considered "conduct detrimental to the league" and grounds for relegation into the Big West.

Sjsu has as hard a time getting a good court as they do getting a good team to play on the court.

I thought their court last year was not terrible, but the court before that was... something else...

Now if they can get more than 2000 fans to attend games would be a huge improvement.

I don’t get it… are they known for circuit boards? Is San Jose also known as circuit city?

San Jose is the heart of Silicon Valley.
That crossed my mind- for most folks though they are going to be thinking San Fransisco I bet. Genuinely serious- has San Jose state contributed to “Silicon Valley” in any meaningful way? Besides being geographically associated what’s the tie in? This makes sense for Stanford, but it’s not obvious to me at least…

Yes! The one I voted for won! Was the ugliest of the choices. I think they may have had more fans of other teams voting than Spartan "fans" 🤣🤣🤣

The winning version looks much better than the one voted on. I’m not crazy about it but if they implemented some LED’s to make it look like circuitry it could be pretty cool.

Presumptuous and ill-informed.

Not sure what you mean by contributed, but their computer science graduates are routinely employed by silicon valley companies. I don't care enough about business to look up who might be a big wig, though.

For those of you who still have not discovered Wikipedia.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Jos ... University

SJSU is consistently listed among the leading suppliers of undergraduate and graduate alumni to Silicon Valley science and technology firms.[11][12][13] As of 2015, San José State University is listed as the top feeder school for Apple Inc., which employs over 1,000 SJSU graduates. SJSU ranks 9th on the list of top feeder schools for Facebook.[98]

Some of the more notable SJSU alumni in science and engineering include Ray Dolby, founder of Dolby sound systems; Dian Fossey, primatologist and gorilla researcher; Gordon Moore, founder of Intel Corporation and creator of "Moore's law"; and Ed Oates, co-founder of Oracle.

Nearly 200 former SJSU students and graduates have founded, co-founded, served or serve as senior executives or officers of public and private companies reporting annual sales between $40 million and $26 billion.[123] This list includes former Intel Corporation CEO, Brian Krzanich,[158] and current Crown Worldwide Group CEO, billionaire James E. Thompson.[159]

Notable companies founded by SJSU students and alumni include Dolby Laboratories (1965), Intel Corporation (1968), Specialized Bicycle Components (1974), Oracle Corporation (1977), Seagate Technology (1979) and WhatsApp (2008).[160][161]

Well, I don’t know why they think they have cornered the market on technology. I once worked at Americord, and USU doesn’t feel the need to brag about it.

How do you know you won if they implemented a court that wasn't even one of the options?

Classic bait and switch.

I don't mind the circuit design, but I think they could have done it much more subtle with darker toned wood than use blue and yellow

I guess when your product has been as bad as SJSU's has been, you need to do something to spice things up. It is getting people talking about their program which is more than their basketball team has done since 96.
