Richmond
Wins A-10. Probably takes a bid away from Wyoming!
How the heck did we beat Richmond?
Plus we beat Oklahoma.
Plus Penn.
We beat the New mags by 27 and at one time we were ahead by 40 something
Then we lose first game to UC Davis
Then lose to Airforce???????
Weirdest Aggie win lose team that I remember in a long time!
Oh, I forgot, we beat a pretty good Weber State team in Ogden!
Out of thr top 4 MWC teams we only beat one once, San Diego State. Lost 7 games out of 8 against the leaders!
Can we go get another Queta somewhere, and another sharp shooter Sam?

Re: Richmond
Really? I think Wyoming is pretty safe. They’ll for sure get bounced in the first tho.

Re: Richmond
You… you know that more than one team from a conference can get invited to the NIT right?
Presumptuous and ill-informed.

We beat New Mexico State and Richmond within a week of each other and both those teams won their conference!

I was about to post that we started the season strong but then remembered we lost to UC-friggin-Davis.ThunderAggie wrote: ↑March 13th, 2022, 2:32 pmWe beat New Mexico State and Richmond within a week of each other and both those teams won their conference!
What a bizarre season.

Re: Richmond
Careful. Remember how several respected posters here preached to the complainers about how good UC Davis was going to be this year and how they'd finish at the top of the big west?ineptimusprime wrote: ↑March 13th, 2022, 2:35 pmI was about to post that we started the season strong but then remembered we lost to UC-friggin-Davis.ThunderAggie wrote: ↑March 13th, 2022, 2:32 pmWe beat New Mexico State and Richmond within a week of each other and both those teams won their conference!

Wins over Richmond, New Mexico St., Oklahoma, and San Diego St.
Losses to UC-Davis, Air Force, and at home to Nevada.
Make it make sense! Lol.

Re: Richmond
Outside of a good east coast run, the only outlier was our sdsu win and upsets happen. We were actually pretty predictable for most of the year. A team that played hard, but couldnt shoot and couldnt close.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑March 13th, 2022, 3:16 pmWins over Richmond, New Mexico St., Oklahoma, and San Diego St.

Re: Richmond
Those early season wins were against teams that hadn't seen us much. After so much tape everyone knew what to do to beat us and we didn't have the "tape be damned" player to go to.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑March 13th, 2022, 3:16 pmWins over Richmond, New Mexico St., Oklahoma, and San Diego St.

Re: Richmond
Also don’t understand the Rutgers pick. 18-13 and a net near 80. Big 10 seems to always have the most teams but usually underachieves

Re: Richmond
Rutgers, Notre Dame, and Michigan should all probably be replaced by Oklahoma, A&M, and Xavier. Rutgers though by far is the biggest head scratcher. What the heck!

Idk, didn’t big 10 have 9 teams last year and 0 in the sweet 16 or something like that. A little biasscotlandog wrote:Rutgers, Notre Dame, and Michigan should all probably be replaced by Oklahoma, A&M, and Xavier. Rutgers though by far is the biggest head scratcher. What the heck!
