Clemson's offense is horrible. Weird thing is last year against Notre Dame, DJ was awesome.RockyMountainHigh wrote: ↑September 18th, 2021, 9:17 pmI will trade Utah State our five star quarterback fir him to come here to Clemson.

Peasley was shades of Jonny Football today. That two point conversion was a beauty.

Re: PEASLEY IS OUR KING
Peasley is a GREAT runner, so if he can pass as well as Bonner, (like he did tonight) its a no brainer.ThunderAggie wrote: ↑September 18th, 2021, 9:39 pmDo we stick with Peasley vs Boise even if Bonner is healthy?
Gonna be interesting.

Re: PEASLEY IS OUR KING
Bonner seems much more composed and gets rid of the ball quickly. But Peasley really made things happen with his high stepping, and some good throws.

Re: PEASLEY IS OUR KING
That would be idiocy. We have Thompkins and bonner can't throw deep. Peasley was lights out. Boise's d line will destroy bonner with his limited mobility and limited arm.

Peasley showed he is his equal passing and better deep and on the move. No Brainer. Against boise. There line and dbs are too good. We need Peasley to have a chance.

We’re probably going to lose one of these guys to the portal next year. Which would be unfortunate, but they’re both way too good to be sitting on the bench.

So many big performances and big plays tonight.
Peasleys run to get the first down
Peasley touch pass as he was falling back
Thompkins blowing by the defense on his routes and making catches in traffic
Bowling making big catches
McGriff finally Cibrian like he can
Terrell with two clutch catches
Tyler with the v run of the game
Rice.... doing everything. But mostly clinching the game with the strip
Bonner getting the occurrence offense ruling early
Vaughns has a huge play near the end
Just big plays all night

Re: PEASLEY IS OUR KING
I can see Peasley leaving if doesn't end up a starter..
If your child was basically already eligible to graduate... with 3 more years of eligibility and they weren't guaranteed a starting position at their current school would you:
A. Encourage them to stay even if as a backup or changed position.
B. Transfer simply for playing time
C. Transfer somewhere else regardless of playing time, but for a higher paying graduate program (ie medical school, law school)
D. Graduate and get on with life.

If it is in fact true that Pease has three more years after this, I think you gotta roll with Pease as an investment in the future.Imakeitrain wrote: ↑September 18th, 2021, 10:56 pmI can see Peasley leaving if doesn't end up a starter..

Re: PEASLEY IS OUR KING
I don't know peasley was good but I've been sold on Bonner after thus game and the other games this year. Both are fantastic but Bonner runs this offense really well. It's like a well oiled machine. Until his injury he was really showing up. Just got a little overshadowed by peasley doing his job and making points as the backup.

mostly you should go with peasley since bonner is hurt, but I can see anderson sticking with Bonner, if Bonner can go.

Re: PEASLEY IS OUR KING
IF Peasley can throw like he did tonight then he should start since he is dynamic with his feet. Bonner was playing really well before he got hurt. It is nice to know you have a few solid options.

Re: PEASLEY IS OUR KING
Did you even watch Peasley. Bonner is good but he's only playing because Peasley hadn't matched his talent with his throw game. That ship passed tonight. The ceiling for Peasley is unlimited. Bonner has hit his. You gotta go with Andrew against Boise because the donks will just pit 7 in the box and dare Bonner to try to go deep against the best d lime we will see yet. This has got to be Peasleys team now.AggieFanNate wrote: ↑September 18th, 2021, 11:01 pmI don't know peasley was good but I've been sold on Bonner after thus game and the other games this year. Re: PEASLEY IS OUR KING
Let’s not forget Air Force pass defense is kind of a joke. Bonner was CARVING them up before he got injured too. We saw Bonners poise, control, and ability to move the chains.
Yes Peasley through a great deep ball but so did Bonner.
I think where Bonner wins is his ability to pass for a first down. Not just huck it deep. He was hitting guys in stride on really tough slant routes.
Whatever happens, it’s a great problem to have and crazy to think that we have it after last years nightmare!

Re: PEASLEY IS OUR KING
I'm gonna go with winning team on this. Peasley threw some nice throws to be sure against a weak passing defense. Bonner has carved up every defense we have encountered. I trust him in the big moments. We shouldn't let hype overshadow how reliable Bonner has been. Peasley is great and should be used. He is a fantastic backup. But there is a reason Anderson picked him as the starter.hickaggie wrote: ↑September 19th, 2021, 12:40 amDid you even watch Peasley. Re: PEASLEY IS OUR KING
You are flat out wrong here. Boise will put 7 in the box, shut down the run, and dare Bonner to go deep. It won't go well if he plays. We have one of the best deep threats in the country and as good of a runner at qb since Keeton. The only thing holding Peasley back was his short intermediate throw game. He had that going tonight and you have to ride it. The ceiling between the 2 qbs is not even close and Peasley needs the reins to keep building his. The Aggies need him now to give this team a chance as the schedule becomes real. You can't beat Boise with an immobile qb with a 15 yard effective range.AggieFanNate wrote: ↑September 19th, 2021, 12:47 amI'm gonna go with winning team on this.
