USU Softball

Post by Yossarian » March 28th, 2021, 2:52 pm

For diversion from the coaching carousel, i saw on my news feed from USU a video clip of a walk off grand slam for the Aggie softball team. That's always a thrilling way to end a game. Nice hit.

I had to leave off watching when it was knotted up at deuces. Deeyang!

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

on top of that, i heard they robbed a home run in the top of the 7th to keep it close before the grand slam to finish it off!!

I missed that one. I wish my Cardinals had more walkoff grand slams.

I haven't watched a bit of softball, but I want to start. What's the easiest way to access the games?

I keep thinking about giving to the team, but I haven't quite gotten there mentally or financially yet. Getting close though.

Since this thread has been resurrected...I think it's time for the softball team to move in a new direction coach-wise. Johnson is in a contract year, and the team is currently 10-21 overall, 2-10 in MW play. He's had just three winning seasons since being hired in 2014, and that includes a 13-11 mark last year in a season which was cut short before things got more difficult in MW play.

Playing softball while wearing regular tennis shoes. Hit a shot toward short. I go busting it to first but start to slip. I put my hands out to break my fall. I made it 50 years and a month without a broken bone....
