Maybe that's why Smith took the Utah job so fast, without Nemi he was screwed! Kinda like Matt Wells with Jlove.

I wish him the best. I am not envious of the burden he carries being the first Portuguese player in the NBA. He has an entire country expecting great things from him. A USU legend, for sure.

I'm sad that we won't see him play in Aggie blue again but I'm excited for him. This is the right choice. He earned it this year.

Good for him, I am so happy for Queta. He has been a great ambassador for the program. I hope he goes and is very successful. Be awesome to hopefully see an Aggie drafted in back to back years. I don't know if that is every happened before.

Just a curious question, have we ever had two NBA draft picks play on the same team? Sam and Queta being teammates made me wonder if this has happened before?

I’m glad he has this opportunity and that he didn’t make his way down to Utah.

I figured he would still declare for the draft, but part of me was having nightmares he would be on the Utes next season.

Agreed. They both have surprising graphic design abilities as well!

From my 20 minutes search of big boards and mock drafts (which are few and far between with so much nba season left) I found two that include Queta.
Fansided: #30 Utah Jazz
Nba draft room: #52 Memphis grizzlies

So far out there aren’t many mock drafts that go into the second round at all

Doesn't Marv Roberts and Nate Williams fit that description?
