Tonight's MVP
Neemi had a massive game, but I've gotta give my vote to Bean. That was primo Justin Bean tonight! That kid was all over the court, and any time there was a loose ball he either caused it or got his hands on it. His defense was fantastic, he played in wonderful control at a breakneck speed, and just played a vintage Bean energy game that lifted the whole team. What a game!!!

Re: Tonight's MVP
Sorry, Bean played great and is trying to get a spot on the all-tourney team with a repeat performance tomorrow night. But with 9 blocks (I think 7 in the 2nd half) you have to give the game ball to Queta. He kept CSU from getting close. After he blocked Roddy in first half I don't think Roddy made another FG because he was worried about Queta every time and with good reason. Queta was the biggest reason why we won but plenty of love to go around to Bean, Anthony, Miller, Worster and Anderson as well.

Re: Tonight's MVP
Bean did Bean things and helped close it out. But the MVP was most definitely Queta. In my opinion it’s not even close tonight. Re: Tonight's MVP
Speaking of Bean, Is it just me or did Roddy get away with one of the most blatant over the backs you’ve ever seen?
Secondly, I’ve noticed on FTs he stands facing the baseline with only one foot in the block and this really seems to help him get around the box out. Why don’t more players do this?

Re: Tonight's MVP
the refs had to see it when they looked at it for 10 minutes to finally decide that yes, the ball did actually go off roddy's arm and they would have to call something against him.hipsterdoofus21 wrote: ↑March 13th, 2021, 1:22 amSpeaking of Bean, Is it just me or did Roddy get away with one of the most blatant over the backs you’ve ever seen?

Seriously. The announcers kept saying it was too hard to tell when it was pretty obvious to me.sam tingey wrote: ↑March 13th, 2021, 1:24 amthe refs had to see it when they looked at it for 10 minutes to finally decide that yes, the ball did actually go off roddy's arm and they would have to call something against him.hipsterdoofus21 wrote: ↑March 13th, 2021, 1:22 amSpeaking of Bean, Is it just me or did Roddy get away with one of the most blatant over the backs you’ve ever seen?

Re: Tonight's MVP
Queta was the man the tonight on defense. His blocks were just a thing a beauty. I am amazed at some of the things Bean does with rebounding. THose 2 rebounds off of missed free throws where he came from one block to the other block to get the rebound were just awesome plays. He just makes winning plays.
