CSU-BSU who do you like tonight?

I have mixed feelings. Sort of rooting for CSU because I know we can beat them. Not sure of BSU. I'd like us ti finish 1 or 2.

I don't know about tonight, but my best guess is they'll split the series.

At this point, I don't think it matters for us since in case we don't win the tournament, we need to beat Boise at least once, maybe twice.

There isn’t much separating USU, SDSU, CSU, BSU, and maybe UNLV too.

I am feeling content if we can go 4-2 against CSU, SDSU, and UNLV. Needa pickup that win tonight.

judging by their remaining schedule, I think they are. If they beat Boise again on Friday they have a good shot of running the table

I could totally see them running the table, but I doubt they will. I also don’t think they’ll beat Boise again on Friday.

Even if they did, we control our destiny with sdsu and csu behind us and a a slew of bottom dwellers plus the exposed boise state paper tigers ahead. Not going to be a walk in the park but it is certainly there for the taking. That alongside they have 3 conference losses with us having two.

We will not sweep Boise in Boise. I’d be happy to split. Boise is a good team and we just split with a much lesser team.

Colorado State has 2 losses. After Friday, they will have played us, BSU and SDSU while the other 3 of us play each other. If they win Friday, they have the easiest path. Not to say they won’t lose one to Nevada or Wyoming, but they would be the favorites.

I think we will split too. But I’d put the odds of us sweeping them as greater than the odds of them sweeping us.

Yep. Ranking top 4 based on schedule

1) CSU - that’s why our loss at home was big. Had 10 pt lead and could have put ourselves in great position. They have easiest remaining schedule and best 2 win a in conference
2) USU - SDSU has easier schedule but we own tiebreaker.
3) SDSU - easy schedule except final 2 at home vs BSU
4) BSU - by far hardest schedule of top 4.

Not saying I disagree. Boise could certainly win the next game. Let’s say they do. I still don’t think they’ll win either game at SDSU, and I think we split with them. That alone puts them at 4 losses even WITH a win on Friday, assuming they go 4-0 against Nevada and UNLV, which is far from a given. I would be shocked to see them finish better than 4th.

Boise finished 2nd or 3rd. That's my guess.

Boise up by double digits. Thus far it is proving that it is hard for these top 4 teams to sweep each other. (Although I still think we are a better team than the rams even though we split).

Boise is playing awesome in the 2nd half. They are really good on the defensive side of the ball. They will be a really tough challenge. I hope Boise wins tonight. I am guessing Boise will lose a few more times, but if CSU won tonight they had a really good shot to win out. It is going to be a fun finish to the season.

Yep, glad to see Boise win tonight so we still control our own destiny.
