71-63 Rebels
I think we’ll need a little more than 2 days to figure out our issues on offense.

Poor shooting night and too much iso ball. Things get back on track but still close.

Re: UNLV game 2 predictions
UNLV is to USU what USU is to SDSU. I think we drop game 2, 65-58. I hope I'm wrong but it feels like we're in the annual "let's lose 3 or 4 games and make it hard on ourselves for the rest of the year" phase.

Re: UNLV game 2 predictions
I agree with this. The key is to defend the 3 ball like a blanket and on offense move the ball around and take/make 3 point shots.

Re: UNLV game 2 predictions
The Aggies played good defense last game. They held them under 60. Just terrible offense. I think they're offense is improved this next game, but still a close game.

I don't even know if I can predict I'll watch this game. That sour taste in my mouth has not left.

Re: UNLV game 2 predictions
I told that my wife that I'm not sure if I'll be able to watch if we take another beating. It's easier to see us lose in person... something about being stuck at home, unable to cheer or heckle where anyone can hear really makes the loss worse.

Re: UNLV game 2 predictions
It's not too late for me. I just have to make an opportunity cost decision. I can either go into the garage and change the spark plugs, wires, and distributor cap & rotor and continue cleaning the engine bay and looking for oil/coolant leaks on the Cherokee; or, I can roll the dice on either being entertained or annoyed by watching the USU Aggies play basketball. I don't know which I'm going to do yet.sam tingey wrote: ↑January 27th, 2021, 12:54 pmIt is also soo late for me. last time i stayed up and watched us lose to CSU, it was really tough the next day.

Listen to it on the radio while you work on the car. two opportunities at the same time for choice swear wordsYossarian wrote: ↑January 27th, 2021, 1:00 pmIt's not too late for me. Re: UNLV game 2 predictions
I would have loved to have heard Al Lewis describe that Bairstow fast-break layup attempt on the radio. That would have been worth it. I got a good chuckle watching it live on TV as it was.sam tingey wrote: ↑January 27th, 2021, 1:03 pmListen to it on the radio while you work on the car. two opportunities at the same time for choice swear wordsYossarian wrote: ↑January 27th, 2021, 1:00 pmIt's not too late for me. Re: UNLV game 2 predictions
I just had a brilliant idea. A wall-mounted TV in the garage. I have the YouTube TV service at the house. I am always looking up YouTube videos for tutorials on how to do things on the cars - I usually do this on my phone. Having a TV to watch while I'm working on the car would be fantastic. Then I could watch the game and work on the car - and cuss at both - without issue. It's settled - a wall-mounted TV in the garage. And a nice sound bar, too, I could justify a quality sound bar in there as well. And a mini-fridge. And a comfortable chair.

Re: UNLV game 2 predictions
Bean shows that NBA quality we expect and gets more offensive boards than their lead scorer gets points.
