CSU Betting Line
Game 1 betting versus CSU is opening at Aggies -7. I am not going to lie that seems about 2-3 points too high. O/U is 138. Be interesting to see if the Aggies defense can keep them well below there season average.

Re: CSU Betting Line
KenPom has the Aggies winning this one 72-66. CSU plays very tough. I'm intrigued to see how these games go.

Re: CSU Betting Line
We covered the spread on both SDSU games. I have a feeling it’ll happen again tomorrow night.

Re: CSU Betting Line
I worry about fatigue setting in for these next two games. The team played hard for two solid games against SDSU - they are young but they could be tired. Ashworth gets beat up pretty good fighting through screens- that has to take a toll. Fatigue can lead to foul trouble as well as an off shooting night.
I think we need big contributions from at least two of Anderson, Bairstow, Dorius, and Bean to make up for fatigue or off nights from the others.

Re: CSU Betting Line
Seems fair for a home game with how we are playing. CSU is a good team, but we are rolling.
Re: CSU Betting Line
Ashworth will definitely need extra recovery time for his neck with the way he feigns whiplash, a la young Sidney Crosby (back me up on this one @TheAKAggie), every time he runs around a screen .Yossarian wrote: ↑January 18th, 2021, 4:22 pmI worry about fatigue setting in for these next two games. Whether it's 'savvy basketball' or 'annoying soccer-like theatrics' all depends on who's team he's on...and he's an AGGIE, so of course it's brilliant

Can't underestimate how hard it is for our guys to be playing 4 consecutive games at altitude...

Re: CSU Betting Line
Yeah another sweep certainly won't be easy. Having to play 4 games in a week(Last Thursday to this Thursday) against quality opponents is a tough stretch. Glad Boise State isn't next week.Yossarian wrote: ↑January 18th, 2021, 4:22 pmI worry about fatigue setting in for these next two games. Re: CSU Betting Line
Considering CSU is also playing 4 games in 7 days, and all of theirs are on the road, I think they are at the greater disadvantage. We haven’t had to travel at all. We should be happy with this scenario not worried.

Re: CSU Betting Line
Not enough of a spread. We should win by 10-15 or so.
CSU is one of the better teams in the conference, but we are clicking right now.

We are going to trip up one of these days. Hopefully it isn't today.

Re: CSU Betting Line
Realistically we matchup well against them, Queta should have a field day
Depends how well they shoot the 3, they can keep themselves in any game like we saw against SDSU

Re: CSU Betting Line
If we sweep this week, we'll really have something. I'll be fine with a split here and a split against Boise.Mr. Sneelock wrote: ↑January 19th, 2021, 11:37 amWe are going to trip up one of these days. Hopefully it isn't today.

Agreed, and that is probably about where our expectations should be.Aggie formerly in Hawaii wrote: ↑January 19th, 2021, 1:13 pmIf we sweep this week, we'll really have something. Re: CSU Betting Line
Good prediction. Actually not far enough haha. We are definitely clicking. Even our great Big West and Wac teams under Stew weren't this dominant.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑January 18th, 2021, 9:05 pmNot enough of a spread. We should win by 10-15 or so.
