As long as there isn't some rollover rot from the last coaching staff, I'm happy for this. We needed a Poly. But, if he's at all a part of stirring things up and causing defections, then it's a terrible move.

I think it's good. Al has been building a good reputation as a coach. He played here (obviously) and he bounced around NFL practice squads for a couple of years so he can show his players what it takes to get to the league. And the whole Polynesian/Utahan thing doesn't hurt either.

Amen. Having a few connections with the past can be very helpful if they are on board with new direction and I am sure that was thoroughly vetted.
