The time I went with my son to a USU @ SDSU game and they only let one person ride the escalator at a time because they were worried it would collapse, lol.

Played in the 1987 Holiday Bowl halftime show there with my high school marching band. Iowa edged Wyoming 20-19. Fond memories of that trip. RIP Jack Murphy Stadium. 🪦

Last years win was pretty fun, although Aztec fans harassed me after the game. I was wearing an "I believe that we will win" shirt.

My wife and I want to the USU/SDSU game during GA 1.0, and SDSU ran us out of the stadium. On the way out, a group of SDSU students saw us as we walked to our car and one of the guys yelled "Utah State sucks!" So I walked toward him and said "So does your mother!" His buddies laughed so hard at him; he just skulked away. Good times.

My Dad flew in from Utah a few years ago (2014 maybe?). He and I drove down from Orange County to support the Aggies. They lost the game but we stuck around afterward because SDSU had a pre-scheduled firework show. During which he and I (and others around us) were pelted with empty fireworks shells falling from the sky - making it the only "interactive" fireworks show I've ever been a part of!

Oh and the fireworks crew also managed to catch part of the field on fire!

Watching Utah tank in the second half and lose to Northwestern a couple years ago in their bowl game. Who was the Utah QB for that game again....?

I was at that game, but I don't think it was 2014. Could be wrong.

The stadium was crap, day games were the worst because of how the stadium was positioned and the odd sight lines. It's located in Mission Valley but not near any thing but a freeway interchange, it had to be the least walkable stadium in MWC (now that CSU build their new stadium on campus), nowhere near the campus, etc. The plan is to put the SDSU East Campus on the site and build a smaller 35K seat stadium. It's too bad they couldn't have pulled off a Petco Park thing and built a new Pro Stadium downtown.

Holiday bowl in 1990 or 1991 when Texas A&M crushed Ty Detmer after he was awarded the Heisman
1998 World series Game 3 Yankees and Padres.
and many, Charger and Padres games... Yes it had horrible sight lines for Football but the best weather in the country in Dec and Jan!

I stayed in Coronado? a few nights and went to a brewery / sports pub one afternoon. Wife and I sat up to the bar and it wasn't long before they found out I was a Raider fan. We drank a few beers and they had incredible fish tacos. At this time the Chargers and the Raiders were actively trying to leave Oakland and SD. so we had some common ground. Different people seemed to be taking turns cutting up on Al Davis, so I asked them who was greatest Charger of all time? They said Lance Allworth. I agreed and told them that Al Davis gave Allworth's induction speech into the HOF. I think they made us honorary Charger fans after that. When we left, someone had already taken care of our bill.

Gotta love SD!

I saw our game against the Asstechs last year which was a great win. I also got to see Greg Maddux and the Braves work over the Padres back in 1996...those are the only two times I’ve been there so nothing but good memories.

That was a great game, I partied with a bunch of Aggies before and after the game, we had a good time razzing the Asstechs around us during the game and after the win. My wife was less than thrilled with me that night for my behavior, and the fact that she got to drive home (she should have known).
