Spartans G/F Richard Washington in averaging 26 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. He is going to be key in getting a victory. The Spartans have three main contributors in Washington, Knight, and Moore. They go 6'6", 6'7", 6,6", respectively. This is a game where Miller, Bean, Anderson, and Bairstow are going to be challenged defensively. Are they up to the task? Neither team is playing very well right now and both are buried very deep in the rankings in pretty much all statistical categories. The biggest advantage each team has over the other is - USU shoots free throws at a 7% higher efficiency and SJSU shoots three pointers at a 5% higher success rate. Defending the three and making threes at a rate higher than 30% is going to be key for a win here.

I think the USU football team might have stood a chance against the SJSU basketball team. The oddsmakers may have made the football Ags underdogs, but I really think we could have pulled out a victory over the basketball Spartans. I'm just a glass half full kind of guy.

I've never seen the predictions underestimate USU by this much. USU got 59 rebounds in the game... almost as many rebounds as SJSU got points!
