Re: Columbi
I don't think Colombi Sr., wouldn't have a problem with it.ArizonaAggie wrote: ↑November 14th, 2020, 8:38 pmLets say Bowman stays as no. 1 at Texas Tech. Would Hank consider coming back? His dad may not like the idea.

Re: Columbi
Guys, I know Colombi is a hugely popular dude around here, but he isn't exactly tearing it up at TT. They have 1 win, and he just got benched. I'm sure he's better than Shelley, but it isn't like we would be 4-0 with him.

Re: Columbi
Try 1-3, and he at least throws for more than 100 yards a games. He got above 200 twice, and topped Shelley's typical 100 in a quarter once.Mr. Sneelock wrote: ↑November 15th, 2020, 8:15 amGuys, I know Colombi is a hugely popular dude around here, but he isn't exactly tearing it up at TT. I do agree though that he's not at the top of the list of quarterbacks we should try to bring in. I am also in favore of trying to develop Legas or Calvin this year.

Hire Jay Hill. I’m not saying he would come here but the odds would go up exponentially if we did.

He didn't get benched, he got injured (forearm).Mr. Sneelock wrote: ↑November 15th, 2020, 8:15 amGuys, I know Colombi is a hugely popular dude around here, but he isn't exactly tearing it up at TT. Re: Columbi
If he was taken out solely because of injury and continues to play well he won't be coming back and who can blame him.brownjeans wrote:He didn't get benched, he got injured (forearm).Mr. Sneelock wrote: ↑November 15th, 2020, 8:15 amGuys, I know Colombi is a hugely popular dude around here, but he isn't exactly tearing it up at TT. Re: Columbi
We’ve offered Creyton Cooper at Lehi, his brother, and again if Jay were the coach Creyton would almost 100% guaranteed to come too.

Re: Columbi
I don't know if Colombi will be coming back or not, but he may not get the job back at TT. Bowman and Colombi seem to be pretty even.ArizonaAggie wrote: ↑November 15th, 2020, 9:20 amIf he was taken out solely because of injury and continues to play well he won't be coming back and who can blame him.brownjeans wrote:He didn't get benched, he got injured (forearm).Mr. Sneelock wrote: ↑November 15th, 2020, 8:15 amGuys, I know Colombi is a hugely popular dude around here, but he isn't exactly tearing it up at TT. Bowman was injured, Colombi came in, played well and kept the job. Now Colombi was injured, Bowman came in and played well. There's a chance Bowman has retaken the starting spot. It also sounds like there could be a coaching change at TT so that could throw everything into the air.
