If that is the best he can do all the other guys are going to have a real hard time finding a spot.

Unless Lefeged had some personal reason for going to Texas State...

As I have said a lot of these guys will not be stepping up in competition when transferring like they might hope. Too many transfers and not enough open spots.

I think it's too bad some of these guys decided to hit the portal prior to knowing who the new coach would be.
It would have served them better to be a little patient.

There's a river that runs close by campus in San Marcos. On a sunny day the scenery along the riverbank is a definite upgrade.

There is nothing wrong with San Marcos. It is a nice area with San Antonio and Austin are within 40 min. Canyon Lake is incredible that is 20 min away... There is nothing wrong there. Texas State is growing fast. I am sure they have doubled enrollement in the last 20 years. They just expanded the football stadium and build a new locker room and weigh room.

I would live in San Marcos. Lots of upside there.

Good local music scene, that's for sure.

I think he was coached out.

Except he left before the new staff was even hired, so how could he have been coached out?
