as for the first, i think someone who has been repeatedly vilified, verbally abused, mocked, scorned, etc as a gay man may have a lower threshold than i for determining what is a bigoted statement and what is crass and crude. i would like to think that a cooler head would wait for a little more evidence and context before making the conclusion. but, i've never been the target of homophobic bigotry, so take my opinion for what you paid to get it.

You need to watch what you say and who you say it around, and in general you probably shouldn't talk like this anyways. But come on. This is stupid.

Question, let's say Mark Harlan at Utah was the one saying the joke in that video, would Utah fire him? Let's take it a step further, if Barry Alvarez said the same thing on a poorly edited, privately taken video, would Wisconsin fire him?

The answer to both is no. This is a weak attempt to throw gas on a fire. It'll work to a degree, but only among hypocrites on Twitter.

I don't think this will be restricted to just "this year". This is the new normal. Do not say or write anything you don't want put out in public. There is always somebody recording that is just looking for a way to bring you down. The more public or high profile figure you are, the greater the number of PC police on the case. It is digital Game of Thrones.

Dee Jones in the comments saying JH was giving him grief for not being at a bowl game. Dee told a crude joke and that was JH's response. Dee and JH are good friends so this kind of banter would likely be normal. Whole lot of nothing IMO. So stupid.

Heaven know if i had someone vidoe recording me when I was not aware I would have a lot of explaining to do. This all just getting ridiculous. I am not saying Hartwell is a saint, but from what I see of him he seems like he a good person. One thing is for certain we all have skeletons in our closet we would not want portrayed over social media. Which is one the reasons I do not participate in Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc.

Man what a mess.

With all that is going on there is only 1 thing I am 100% certain on....

I am glad Alex Wheat did not stay for his senior year, he is a cancer, he should not be taken seriously, most of his teammates think he is a cancer, and he was not even remotely close to being D1 talent.

As far as the video. I hope USU digs this cancer out fast. And I hope it becomes public who it is. If you want to cheat and manipulate to discredit someone in public. You do not deserve privacy.

I'm very confused as to why Alex Wheat Jr. is still relevant at all to USU. He was a promising JC transfer that wound up not being very good and then went to FCS Coastal Carolina where he again did absolutely nothing.
