Thank you! Just when I thought everything Aggie was canceled. Now I’m not quite as depressed!treesap32 wrote: ↑December 12th, 2020, 12:27 amLooks like we'll be able to watch Sam's first Preseason game here:

thanks Sap. I'm torn though. On one hand I want to see Sam play out his dreams, and on the other I want the NBA to rot in hell.

I'm a bad Jazz fan. I'm way more excited to watch the Bucks game tonight than the Jazz.

The NBA is a wonderful product. I am much more invested in my college basketball teams, but the NBA game is such a better overall product than college basketball.

The NBA is full of entitled millionaires who hit the genetic lottery, but this summer made it clear they only see me as a privileged white supremacist to blame for all the wrongs in the world. Didn't sound like they wanted me as a fan anymore.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑December 12th, 2020, 12:49 pmYou’re nuts, man.hipsterdoofus21 wrote: ↑December 12th, 2020, 11:58 amthanks Sap. Just messing. You don’t have to like the NBA, and I don’t care what your politics are.

I totally agree with hipster. I’ll turn on the game and only pay attention when Sam’s in. Better yet if I could record it I’d just fast forward to when Sam is in. I won’t watch any NBA. College is the better product anymore.

Re: Live Stream of Merrill's First Game
Funny thing is I've never been into politics and that junk, even voted independent in the past, but this year certain events and patterns of behavior by groups of individuals have forced me to pick a side I guess. I miss the old days of only caring about sports. I really do.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑December 12th, 2020, 1:26 pmHipster, have you been a Twitter bot for all this time?hipsterdoofus21 wrote: ↑December 12th, 2020, 1:14 pmThe NBA is full of entitled millionaires who hit the genetic lottery, but this summer made it clear they only see me as a privileged white supremacist to blame for all the wrongs in the world. This was a pretty good NBA moment without the entitlement and animosity toward fans

Man, I didn't even consider how tough it must be to be someone who loves and supports the Aggies but who also opposes freedom of speech and who wishes athletes would just shut their damn entitled mouths and entertain me.

I'm aware that this is hypocritical of me, but we should probably try to keep Sandbox stuff outside of these threads.
I've never been an NBA fan, just because we didn't watch any of it in my house growing up. I've never cared about the Jazz. But I now most certainly care about the Bucks. #FearTheDeer

Re: Live Stream of Merrill's First Game
I really like the NBA product, but I do wish they would save the politics for outside the games.
I have absolutely no issue with players using their social media accounts and whatever they want to say anything they desire, but it's off-putting when they insist on doing it during the games. Let the games be the games, they have 95% of their lives to use their fame to say whatever they want. I don't see why they have to also do so while the games are being actively played.

Re: Live Stream of Merrill's First Game
Stopped watching when Magic ran head first into an unmoving and immovable Mark Eaton, and they called foul on Eaton. Irredeemably fake and corrupt. At least with wrestling everybody's in on the gag.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Re: Live Stream of Merrill's First Game
I would imagine so. Maybe not much tonight because I imagine with it being the first game the starters will play a little more, but the Bucks don't have a super deep roster and I'd have to think he gets a decent chunk of time in most pre-season games.Roy McAvoy wrote: ↑December 12th, 2020, 4:54 pmDo we think Sam is going to be minutes with it being preseason?

Yeah, that’s why i don’t like the NBA either. Watching guys drive and flail their arms and shoot free throws is boring.USU78 wrote:Stopped watching when Magic ran head first into an unmoving and immovable Mark Eaton, and they called foul on Eaton. Bucks shooting 7% from 3. They should put Sam in to fix that for them.

I'm not sure I can watch another team that can't shoot. Unless Merrill actually gets minutes this year I think I'm gonna go back to cheering on my Jazz and Aggies.brownjeans wrote: ↑December 12th, 2020, 6:58 pmBucks shooting 7% from 3. They should put Sam in to fix that for them.
