DC?
BA is for sure an offensive guy. WHo are some realistic names that people would like to see as defensive coordinator? I think this hire will be vital for our success.

Re: DC?
I think that ship has sailed and sunk to the bottom of the ocean.
Also, he has proven to be a crappy DC. I would actually prefer him as head coach over DC.

Re: DC?
100% that he’d be a much better HC than DC. The best thing that Frank could do for himself is get an FCS job, find some good coordinators, establish his system and coaching style, and build his resume with wins.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑December 12th, 2020, 1:01 pmI think that ship has sailed and sunk to the bottom of the ocean.

Unfortunately, after this episode, no college will give him that opportunity.AggieUprising50 wrote: ↑December 12th, 2020, 1:06 pm100% that he’d be a much better HC than DC. Amen. And if there's ever a year to kickstart a rebuild, it will be next year between the generosity of the transfer portal and the additional year of eligibility.

Re: DC?
Agreed. I also love that after these psuedo allegations, our new DC and new OC are both not white. Add to that, bringing Keaton back and we are building a nice diverse coaching staff.
I was excited about Anderson, and now I'm genuinely amped!

Re: DC?
He has that title but it’s just a pay bump thing. Richt was going to name him DC when Diaz left then Diaz hired Blake Baker to be DC but they let Banda keep his title. He’s their safeties coach.
Miami is the team I follow the most so I’m very familiar with him. Great recruiter. He’ll be the best on our staff day 1. High energy. Diaz hired him at Mississippi state and brought him to Miami. Never called a defense of any kind at the college level.
I imagine he’ll bring Diaz system with him which is 4-2-5 aggressive 1 gap front

Re: DC?
Completely agree with your post! I agree that he will bring the 4-2-5 with him. We should be able to score some transfer dlineman with the recruiting prowess of these coaches. It will be if we can bring in some young guys to learn behind them. This defense if recruited properly will be dominant in the mountain west. It is just really hard to get 8-10 legit d linemanIntermeddler wrote: ↑December 12th, 2020, 2:02 pmHe has that title but it’s just a pay bump thing. Re: DC?
I disagree. This situation is between the Players and the President of the University, not Frank himself. If anything, an FCS school might take a shot with him thinking that he’d bring some players with him.Donman wrote: ↑December 12th, 2020, 1:29 pmUnfortunately, after this episode, no college will give him that opportunity.AggieUprising50 wrote: ↑December 12th, 2020, 1:06 pm100% that he’d be a much better HC than DC.
