Re: So if you are Blake Anderson?
I'd ask (demand?) a 50% pay raise on what literally would amount to day 1. who else is going to take over this dumpster fire?!

Re: So if you are Blake Anderson?
I think this.
Expectations have now been floored. It's actually not a bad position to be in if you are Anderson.

Re: So if you are Blake Anderson?
He'd be a complete idiot, which I trust he's not, to back out right now.
1. He's going to get the whole story, not bits a pieces from a message board.
2. Maybe lots of players show up to the 8:00 meeting with him.
3. Maybe Cockett gets fired and if so the "problem" is solved.
There is far more to this story than is being reported in the media and on this board. We live in a day and age where outrage gets the clicks. The millisecond attention spans of the world is bad as it will paint USU in a bad light and nobody will see the resolution, but also good because a 2 weeks from now nobody will care. Everyone will have long since moved on to the next fire.

Re: So if you are Blake Anderson?
He’s got a five year deal and a one win team next season with no drama is improvement from this year. I think he’ll be just fine getting to build a team from the ground up. He went to Arkansas State as their fifth coach in five years, so he’s had experience cleaning up prior coaches messes.
The speed the 2018 team accomplishments have been vaporized has been breathtaking. Taking over a team that was ranked 21 at the end of the season less than two years ago and now hoping for a single win next year is just nuts.

At the rate we're going we're not even to be able to field the teamFull wrote: ↑December 11th, 2020, 4:15 pmHe’s got a five year deal and a one win team next season with no drama is improvement from this year.
