Colorado State
So, what do we expect in the game tomorrow?
Many players are mad, Frank and the rest of the coaches are on their way out, and it's on the road.
So, do they mail it in or do they try and win with hopes of improving transfer/new job options?
I'm guessing they mail it in. Given that we're a bad team to begin with, I wouldn't be surprised to see a 35+ point loss. CSU ain't great, but given everything I feel confident it's gonna get ugly.

Yeah I could see it going lot of different ways. But if I had to choose one I would say that we might get steamrolled. I hope the players go out and want to prove something and also prove to the new coach that they're going to play hard no matter the circumstances.

The spread is -13.5 for CSU. I am taking CSU to cover.

Keep in mind that their coach is "the dude."
I think I'll take a lame duck over "the dude" at this stage.

Re: Colorado State
If they wanted to prove something, then they would have played harder/better against AFA. I really believe that solidified the nail in Frank's coffin for the HC job.Aggie84025 wrote: ↑December 11th, 2020, 12:30 pmYeah I could see it going lot of different ways. Re: Colorado State
I'm doubting we'll even bother to show up tomorrow, if we do it will be up to the players to win this game, coaches aren't going to care.

Re: Colorado State
Color me optimistic, but I think we'll win. if Frank is the good guy we all believe he is, he shouldn't be bitter. Yeah, it sucks, but there are a number of valid reasons why Hartwell chose to go another direction. I think Frank will put in his best effort, and I think the players will respond accordingly.
Or they may just mail it in, lol. Who knows at this point?

Re: Colorado State
I would have to think that the players are auditioning for spring ball and will want to put their best foot forward..... those that plan to stay anyways.
Those that plan to leave better be super careful because the transfer portal is packed and the amount of scholarships available is crazy small.

Re: Colorado State
Yeah nothing says "I just lost my job but some other school should totally hire me!" Or "Mr. Hartwell n you just made the biggest mistake of you career by not hiring me." Like mailing it in for your last game.
The coaches have plenty of reasons to care about this game, mostly a pay check next season.
In the same vein coming from a player. Nothing says "i am transferring and some coach should offer me a scholarship" or "coach anderson, i am staying and want playing time next year" quite like mailing it in for your last game.

Disappointed in my team if this is the case. All who voted not to play can pack their bags and be gone by Sunday.

Wow...this is just...not good at all, and frankly (no pun intended) I feel bad for Anderson...he's flying in today and these guys are essentially stating they won't even go play ball.taniataylor wrote: ↑December 11th, 2020, 2:49 pmIm sad and extremely disappointed.

Yup. 100% off the "hire frank next time after he gets more experience elsewhere" boat. He wont get another job.

Thanks for letting us know Tania. Any idea how many voted TO play? I feel bad for them because they will get lumped into the same group as those that are refusing to play.

If the majority wont play, they have to forfeit - not enough players to playAgMan21 wrote: ↑December 11th, 2020, 2:53 pmThanks for letting us know Tania. Any idea how many voted TO play? I feel bad for them because they will get lumped into the same group as those that are refusing to play.
