Colombi tearing it up

Post by bullshot » October 24th, 2020, 4:52 pm

I don’t see how Shelley could play better than Colombi is playing right now.
20 - 10 over WV.

Perhaps we should allow Shelley to take at least one snap before we rush to judgement.
It doesn’t matter anyway as Henry decided to transfer to TT.

Well, he could have not had 3 incomplete passes? But seriously, yeah, he looks dang good. 15/18 for 124 and 1 TD and 31 yards rushing for another TD.

Smart decision to transfer as much as I wish I could have watched him in Aggie Blue.

Let alone his Oline isn’t helping him out much. He’s scrambling but keeping his eyes downfield and making the passes

Yeah I feel for you man. This week you can't do your weekly "crap on Wells" threads you love so much. Not a good week for the people comparing Colombi to Danny Berger and saying it was good he was gone.

14/27 for 92 yards and 1 interception added 4 yards rushing on 9 attempts

Maybe Utah’s third string QB this year will be the answer at QB next year

Yeah I mean certainly the schedule will get easier. It isn't like we ever have that much success on the blue, but it was bad. I don't think I'm going out on much of a limb to say Colombi would have moved the ball better than Shelley did. Next week might not be much better offensively. I don't know what SDSU lost from last year, but last year they had the second best scoring defense in the country. Unless they had a big overhaul on defense, expect a lot of 3 and outs.

Happy for Henry! Glad he got an opportunity, he's doing exactly what many of us here thought he would do, good for him.

Go Aggies!

Yeah Boise is tough for sure but just watching him throw his arm and touch are just not great. I think it was a huge mistake to shake things up at QB unless we could clearly upgrade and this is not a clear upgrade

Really happy for Henry. Really sad for USU letting him get away.

Terribly handled situation.

I don't disagree.
