Re: New commit per 22
Haha I could have guessed this would have happened. Guys this is a real commit and he is extremely talented. Wait for 22s interview and it will probably explain a lot I bet.
When 22 says something about recruiting it usually is pretty accurate.

Re: New commit per 22
Juice was able to reclassify to the class of 2021 due to extenuating circumstances. He's even eligible to play in 2020. He did attend all 4 high schools.Naked Bull Rider wrote: ↑September 11th, 2020, 1:25 pmI'm no expert in navigating recruitment sites like maxpreps or 247sports. I'm sure 22 is dialed into these outlets and knows how to navigate and interpret the data far better than most of us.
Maxpreps says he plays for Western High School in Davie, Florida and graduates in 2021.
ESPN says he plays for Cardinal Gibbons High School.
247 says he plays for Western but that he also attended Cardinal Gibbons, IMG Academy, and Stephenson High School all before attending Western. They also outline him as the class of '20 (not 2021).
The list of offers he has received varies across all three of those platforms. 247 sports says he has offers from running back powerhouses like Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, and Oregon. Yet a fourth platform (RIVALS) says he has zero offers??
I keep trying to find his playing stats and can't find anything...
Is this even real? Seems fishy to me (unless COVID has drastically delayed the process in keeping recruitment info accurate and up-to-date??).
If you have 20 minutes to kill, it is a strange but interesting rabbit hole to go down.
ESPN and Rivals don't give a damn about Utah State as far as recruiting goes. Our guys only get the 247 press that they do because of myself and my colleague Isaac. For lots of regions throughout the country, the recruiting sites are a popularity contest. Not only in regards to the kids but the coaches of those kids as well. Some schools will only let Rivals in, while others will only let 247sports in. I just did a 247sports profile for a kid in Florida because there is no 247sports presence in the high school he attended, so he was referred to me by a coaching colleague of mine. Unless you are a top 500 kid, ESPN is worthless. Rivals doesn't care about most kids that are G5 bound.
I can tell you with 100% certainty that Juice held all these offers at one point in time.

Re: New commit per 22 (Miles "Juice" Friday)
Anyone know if we're still after Roscoe Burton too?
Go Aggies!

We are still VERY interested in Roscoe Burton. The issue you are going to continue to hear is with the eligibility freeze, we are running our of room RAPIDLY! If you don't count RM's, we may only sign 7 or 8 dudes.

Hey 22 not that you aren’t busy or anything. But did you post your interview anywhere?aggies22 wrote: ↑September 11th, 2020, 9:43 amHere's the short story about Juice. He was VERY highly recruited early in his high school career. He committed to Tennessee as a sophomore and as the big-time offers continued to roll in, he backed off his commitment to Tennessee. He was forced to bounce around a bit when his mother was diagnosed with cancer. Because he attended a few high schools his transcripts didn't always translate over so he was not able to graduate on time. This kid had a hard run of luck and the big-time schools went elsewhere rather than wait it out to see how things turned out for him. Juice was our #1 running back target for the 2021 class. He will enroll at Utah State in January. I am finishing up an interview with him as I type this post.
