Makes me wonder what we will be allowed to have at home games when we start. 6K like they have, or 10 percent capacity? I guess this was decided by state government as it pertains to events.

65K seat stadium reduced to 6K people? Sounds like a losing proposition. I'm sure the concessions folks will be fine though

I’m sure they’ll be just fine. I’m guessing no concessions though. Way to go BYU for at least trying to make this work.

Good for them. I don't want USU to ever be independent again, but that is an advantage of being independent. No conference can tell you not to play. I wish USU would put together even a small schedule with some local teams.

This could be a dangerous situation, what are all those robust co-eds going gnaw on?

However, our concession stands would still be overwhelmed.

We seem to try harder with our concessions,,,just not smarter. Being in a line of five can mean losing half a quarter of football, and I won't even try it anymore during a game. I would note the restrooms are immensely upgraded and actually quite satisfactory.

Re: I guess BYU will allow 6K at home games.
I was at the New Mexico State game that year. It was a 42-20 loss to close the season. We had the entire section to ourselves. I thought at that moment it was the lowest moment in Aggie football and it pretty much was. The next year wasn't much better, but we did get two wins, then got 3 in 08 and 4 in 09 before starting to make bowls regularly.sam tingey wrote: ↑September 9th, 2020, 12:21 pmsounds like 2006 season all over againAggie84025 wrote: ↑September 9th, 2020, 12:06 pmi would be happy with 3k fans at our home games if it meant the aggies were playing.

And all 6,000 are going to show off their new slogan. "Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere.." They do keep it clean on Sundays though.

Awfully generous of her.

Yeah I have no idea how that made it to print. I can see Aggie and Ute students having a field day mocking that. I'm shocked nobody just said let's put "Any Team, Anytime, Anywhere."

Kind of weird that a bunch of old dudes are making these statements while looking at that picture. They are playing games and we are not. It makes me pretty mad.

So because USU is not playing football, that means people are not allowed to poke fun at a horribly worded T-shirt of a a rival? I am not sure I follow the connection between the two, but I guess that’s what old age does.

Re: I guess BYU will allow 6K at home games.
My goodness, some ideas here are interesting. First if we just went ahead and scheduled some "small local schools" who would those school be ' given that no western school other than YBU is playing ? We would have no T.V. revenue, and very small attendance. even if a far off small school agreed to come here for revenue. That would be a bad revenue idea
If the conference does start to play games one can only imagine the whining that will take place with the reduced attendance requirement, out side of a handful of students only high rollers would get into games, even some donors would would not be allowed in.
This fall season is gone, and playing games in winter at Logan does not light my fire at all, even with club seating. Time to move on.

I agree with you a winter season would be dreadful. Good luck playing in January in Logan. Count me as one that is disappointed with no aggie fall football this same as you, but there is no way that was going to take place, so I just donated my ticket price plus donation, and hope for a better fall in 2021 see Y'all next fall.Aggie formerly in Hawaii wrote: ↑September 10th, 2020, 12:38 pmI agree with you a winter season would be dreadful. Yeah and the responses to Criddle on twitter are all making fun of it or guys "being appalled" saying things like "I wouldn't let my daughter wear that." A lot of people are making fun of it beyond this board. It is like their "Quest for Perfection" shirts.Aggiealum13 wrote: ↑September 10th, 2020, 11:04 amYeah even boogerboard is shaking their head over this picture.
