Piecing Together a Virtual Season
I have spent the last little bit reading about the season being cancelled. Over the weekend, I was working on my Plex account. That got me to thinking about piecing together a 12 game season that I can watch to replace this upcoming season if cancelled. So, let's put something together as a community.
1. They must be games that we can actually watch (Downloads section of this site)
2. I prefer to keep conference opponents on the virtual schedule as they are on the real schedule. For example, replace the real Boise game with a suitable past game.
3. I prefer wins, but good games that ended in losses are okay.
4. OOC games can be anyone we want that is no longer in the current MWC.
So let's do this. Give me your picks:
1. OOC opponent
2. OOC opponent
3. OOC opponent
4. OOC opponent
5. SDSU best game
6. Boise State best game
7. New Mexico best game
8. Nevada best game
9. Wyoming best game
10. Fresno best game
11. Colorado State best game
12. AFA best game
Bonus: Best Bowl Game

Re: Piecing Together a Virtual Season
This is a really cool idea and a way to get some sense of normalcy through the fall. I might actually try to do this. Don't have an answer yet, but I will start thinking about it and come back.

Utah 2012, LA Tech 2012, Hawaii 2011, Boise 2015, BYU 2014/2018, SDSU 2019, Fresno 2019, AF 2013, CSU 2018, Wyoming 2019, UNLV Nevin Lawson game (can't remember year), Nevada 2015, San Jose 2012, New Mexico doesn't have a game that stands out to me. Then we could take our pick of Auburn, Wisconsin, USC, or Mich St.

If we "play" the season correctly we could go undefeated! Virtual Mountain West Conference Champions.

I like that lineup @aggieguy13. How about an all-time most entertaining game list regardless of opponent.

I definitely think that will be my schedule. I may even fit a few others in there.

The 2011 Kennedy Hawaii game, but you also have to re-enact it by starting playback at midnight, so that I can re-live staying up until after 3AM to watch that game on the East Coast.

Re: Piecing Together a Virtual Season
Oh yeah, that is a classic. Definitely part of the extra games on top of the 12+bowl. Plex is definitely my friend this season.
