Hopefully for JLove he gets a warm weather team to take him.

What pick number will Love be?
Honestly no clue. I’ve been checking mocks for the past couple weeks. He’s been listed sixth, late second round, and everything in between. I’m hoping colts or saints. Sit behind a veteran for a year or two and take over in a couple seasons.

I've been saying that for two years! It's that or a team that plays home games in a dome.

Re: What pick number will Love be?
Rich Eisen made a good point yesterday that a team picking Love will want to get him in the first round because there's an extra guaranteed year on his rookie deal that wouldn't be there if he's taken in the second round.

Re: What pick number will Love be?
CBS sports showed a trade in picks so the Pats could get him #15. Not a pats fan, but hope he gets a great draft and a chance to develop and flourish.

Re: What pick number will Love be?
While the Patriot "mystique" is intriguing to me personally. I just don't think this would be a good landing spot for Jordan. With 8 home games in Foxborough and annual trips to Buffalo and the Jets, there are just way too many opportunities for cold-weather games and I'm not confident in his ability to play well.

Yes! This is why I hope he ends up in New Orleans, Miami, Las Vegas, or Los Angeles!aggies22 wrote: ↑April 23rd, 2020, 11:25 amWhile the Patriot "mystique" is intriguing to me personally. Re: What pick number will Love be?
Last report is that New Orleans isnt in the market for a QB right now, but we'll see, He would be a good fit there though.ThunderAggie wrote: ↑April 23rd, 2020, 11:35 amYes! Re: What pick number will Love be?
I would like to see him with the Raiders, which is a reasonable possibility........... or the Chargers, which is also a team that needs a Qback. Both are warm weather and close to home.
These two teams are a good bet, especially if the big 3 are all taken by then.

Re: What pick number will Love be?
I've now seen several models that have love at 18 to the Dolphins, with the Dolphins trading up to get Love and passing on Tua with the 5.
Re: What pick number will Love be?
I've been thinking about Love's trouble in cold weather games and feel that no matter which team takes him, he'll have to overcome the chills or he simple will not last in the NFL. Miami is not going to be ok will giving up division games up north just for his sake.ThunderAggie wrote: ↑April 23rd, 2020, 11:35 amYes! Re: What pick number will Love be?
I’m thinking early 2nd round. A month and a half
ago when he had all the hype and before all of the qbs moving around I thought he’d be a lock round one.
Colts 2nd pick of 2nd round.

Re: What pick number will Love be?
At least with QBs going early there is a lot of room for Love. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a big Hurts reach.

Tua was a wasted pick.

My guess is that he will be picked in the 20s to either New Orleans or Patriots

Re: What pick number will Love be?
I won't be surprised if he doesn't go until tomorrow. I think there are quite a few teams that would even see that as a reach, but at least one team will be willing to take him late 1st or 2nd.

Re: What pick number will Love be?
This review I think explains a lot. Basically, every review I've read says the same.
...His decision making was very concerning this past season. He forced too many balls into crowds and didn't ever give up on a play -- to a fault. His supporting cast wasn't very good, but he still fell into too many bad habits. He uses his athletic ability to escape and extend plays, but there are occasions when he fails to climb and reset his feet. Overall, Love is a raw prospect who will need some time to develop...
This being said, I bought a rookie card for each of my boys. I think he will succeed but not immediately.

Re: What pick number will Love be?
They drafted Herbert with 6th pick. Love will either go to New Orleans or drop to 2nd round unless someone trades up.

Without trades, looking at the Colts in round 2 as the next spot that makes sense.

Re: What pick number will Love be?
Congrats to Jordan, but I absolutely hate this pick as a bears fan and that it's cold weather. I wanted to be able to cheer for him.
