Sam hit 2 NBA distance 3s - each to give the team a lead. Over Flynn to take a lead while trailing. And over Feagin for the game winner when tied.

It's worth noting that Flynn was the conference DPOY. And Feagin 'owned' Merrill this year.

Sometimes, you just can't keep a Good Sam down.

Funny thing is my Dad was there in attendance and when we got down 16 in the first half he made the comment that it felt like Hoosiers when they take that first timeout and coach Dale says " Maybe we shouldn't even be here!"

If you look at the right side of the screen you can see Larry Spaulding pointing to the baseline saying San stepped out of bounds. Dave Hall waived him off saying, “No! They can review that in the last 2 minutes”

Going from that loss to NM to a win over SD? Horrified that we might get kicked out of post season contention by NM or Wyo, to just hoping that we don't get embarrassed by SD.......... To conference champs?

I brought the hoosiers dvd on the trip. On the way home i made my boys watch it first. Was awesome listening to the movie after watching that game.
