I’m sure it is? Do we know anything about him? I assume he’s a mission kid.

Re: 2020 Signing Day Central (February)
Yes, he is. He will be a mission kid. And I know this may sound cliche` but he is a very underrated and athletic kid!
Re: 2020 SIGNING DAY CENTRAL (February)
Watch his film! He is super under valued. He is a stud safety with great size and speed!

Re: 2020 SIGNING DAY CENTRAL (February)
I'm trying to figure out how many initial spots we have left? I imagine they're being left open for grad transfer. Are there three more left. Is that correct?

Re: 2020 SIGNING DAY CENTRAL (February)
I'm super excited we got this guy, but I'm a little leery as at one point he was medically retired due to an injury? Aggies22 you know any more about that?

I've got from 3 to 5. I definitely think we have 3 left. I think we may potentially have as many as 5 left.Roy McAvoy wrote: ↑February 5th, 2020, 8:48 amI'm trying to figure out how many initial spots we have left? Re: 2020 SIGNING DAY CENTRAL (February)
I would like to see us land at LEAST one more JuCo/grad transfer defensive lineman. But I don't think it will be today.

As the commits have rolled in and become rated. We have moved up from the 10th best class to 6th best class.

Re: 2020 SIGNING DAY CENTRAL (February)
Couple questions for the day. Any other guys we might get that aren't committed?
One of note I saw was Trae Shropshire from Blinn. He is a 3 star WR with a semi unimpressive offer list. But 247 doesn't have anything about him. Are we still going after him? I figured that if he visited, we are interested.
What about Lamar Campbell from Sumner WA. 3 star CB that is listed as "warm" on us and Washington. He visited Washington but there isn't a record of him getting an offer there. We have offered him. We still going after him?
Anyone else?

Re: 2020 SIGNING DAY CENTRAL (February)
I have not heard a peep about Trae Shropshire since he visited. I think he felt like he would get bigger offers and was trying to use a visit to Utah State as a spring board. We are no longer interested in Trae. We took Justin McGriff instead.thegreendalegelf wrote: ↑February 5th, 2020, 10:44 amCouple questions for the day. Lamar Campbell came on an unofficial visit last spring. I don't really know where he stands in his recruiting but I haven't heard him mentioned for some time.
I've been told that we are done for today. Everyone they were expecting is in.

Interesting to see Crew Wakely announced and at Safety. Also, good to see Sterzer at Tight End.

Re: 2020 SIGNING DAY CENTRAL (February)
Thank you Aggie faithful...
Just had a chance to see this site, these POSTS and topics. l am so impressed with the fan enthusiasm and support and am pumped to be part of your Aggie fans football family!
I’m equally happy/excited that my son signed with your school/program in Jan. Broc had several MW options (including that blue field team); who offered him in late Jan. He told them immediately he was going to USU. He’s always liked the MW Conf. also and has watched so many USU games over the last two years! I would be disingenuous if I didn’t admit I initially pushed him to take the West Point or Air Force offers, as a dad and with military bloodlines we were so humbled as a family visiting there but he loved your coaches and the school and town when he visited in Jan. Plus the staff has been simply remarkable with him!!
Anyways, he’s now up in Logan and is “grinding”, meeting his new brothers and so excited to began practices and be an Aggie!
I look forward to many years wearing blue and cheering loud with the Aggie hopeful.
Thanks for letting me borrow some of your time with this post...

Welcome to the board! We are usually very even keeled, but there will be times where we spiral in despair and may pick out specific players and I hope you don't take it personally.AZ4AggieNation wrote: ↑June 9th, 2020, 9:40 pmThank you Aggie faithful...

On a different note, I'm really excited to see how the coaching staff uses TE this year. We've had some good ones in the past and used them well, and I hope we get back to using them a lot.
