J10VE Projected 1st Round

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

That's interesting since they have him ranked as the 77th ranked prospect and the 7th QB yet they think he will go to the chargers at 7.

CBS sports is interested in propping up mwc talent.

I hope the best for love but cbs sports is as bad at espn in propping up their content and having it be reflected in reporting.

Have a very Aggie Xmas.

I'd be very surprised if he goes top 10, but hope he does!

I'm not in the 1st round bandwagon. That might be because I saw all his mistakes. That's almost as bad as only seeing his highlights. Love kicked A$$ in the bowl game with all the pressure and all eyes on him. That says a lot. If it wasn't for that one game I'd have him as a 3rd - 4th round pick. Hope I'm wrong. It would be incredible to see him go top 10, but think about it. Picked that high? That means he'd start next season for the Chargers. I just don't see it

The consistent theme seems to be that he has more arm talent than anyone in the draft.

I am not 100% surprised by this.
There are major concerns about the other qbs, and Josh Allen former Wyoming QB is playoff starting qb.
Mayfield and Rosen are draft busts from 2017 which shows the hype of P5 qbs is too much.

He wouldn't start. They'd bring him in to be the future and learn from Rivers.

Jordan Love may go first round, but second round is more likely due to this season. I also feel like this year especially there will be a lot more QB's that are going to declare.

He needs a good coach that can fix his footwork. If he can get that down he can be successful in the NFL. I think he needs to go to a team that will put him on the bench behind a veteran for a year or two.

As a Chargers fan I hope he doesn't go overall #6 to the Chargers. If they can get him 2nd or 3rd round I'm all for it. But Chargers need another impact player now.

Baker Mayfield came in the 2018 draft and is not a bust.

I have seen Love projected to go as early as 6 to the Chargers to several in the middle of the 1st round (Tennessee and Indianapolis) to late in the first round to the Saints at 30. I thought I also saw one in the second round to the Giants, but I'm not sure.

How he played this season has nothing to do with how he will be picked. While we fans were disappointed with his season, the NFL scouts see a QB who can make every throw they want. They can coach out of him all of the things he's bad at. It would be really be beneficial for Jordan, wherever he winds up, to be able to sit behind a QB and watch for a little while.

I have looked at several mock drafts on different services. He has been mostly in first or second round. One had him in 4th which is the lowest. Eberle went 4 th Round in one draft

We should all be hoping for Jordan to go as high as possible. It's great for the program.

It sounds like the Senior Bowl is going to be a pretty big showcase for Love and a lot of scouts are waiting to see how he plays to see where he might end up going, but most mock drafts right now have him going to the Colts. I watched some of his 2018 game film on one website and I forgot how amazing he can play at times. It seems like he was more willing in 2018 to get rid of the ball when nothing was there and move on to the next play. I do think he pressed way too hard this last season and he probably felt like it was on him to make too many things happen. One thing I'm surprised with is how there hasn't been anything really said in his analysis about playing poorly in bad weather.

Exactly!!! If I am a QB recruit and am looking for a G5 school, I would want to play for a team that produced a 1st round QB out of a 3 star recruit. I am not saying that we "made" Love as he had a lot of hidden talent, but guys want to go to places where they can get into the league (aka NFL). If Love does end up becoming a starting QB in the NFL, we could say JLove and Bobby were Aggies. Would help with recruiting and name recognition.
