It's really sad when players throw away such great opportunities. Hope he is able to get things turned around for himself and can land on his feet.

UNM is down 73-44 at CSU just six minutes into the second half. CSU is 15-21 from three. I have never seen a team shoot more than 70% from three while taking that many shots.

Our 19 pt loss to AF doesn't look to shabby compared to UNM's 105-72 annihilation against Colorado State. Also, Air Force is going to get a big win vs Boise tonight.

We needed NM to win though as we wanted them to possibly be a Q1 win on the road. Looks like they will be Q2 and be around 100-120 in the NET by the end of the season.

Do we want them to win or do we want them to lose? We only play them once, if they lose to all the other conference teams, then it will be better for the rest of the conference teams that we play twice and for our strength of schedule. They wont be a Q1 win for us.

I just hope we can beat Boise on Saturday on the road and get back to winning on the road.

New Mexico also wasn't thinking single digit NCAA Tournament seed earlier this year like we were. If there is a team whose losses this year our loss to Air Force "doesn't look too shabby compared to", it's North Carolina and the slump they are in. We can only hope that a streak of our own gets extended from 10 to 11 like one of North Carolina's streaks wasn't extended from 59 to 60.

Actually it doesn't fit. This was an 80s list. RMH is a 70s song. It might fit on a 70s sing-along list.

Part of me wants NM to lose because we could be fighting for seeding to get a bye or get a 2 or 3 seed in the conference tournament, assuming we are able to avoid any bad losses. It would be HUGE to get a 2-3 seed because then we would avoid SDSU, the most likely 1 seed, until the championship game.

I agree I would like to be in the 2 or 3 spot and avoid SDSU until the final assuming we go there. If we win this Saturday it will go a long ways of making it a possibility.
