I’m actually surprised that he left Hawaii. Being a former Hawaii player and the direction he had their program going I thought he may be there for a while longer. Guess not.

I think Washington State was looking to hire someone that has an offensive system that was similar to what Leach ran so that it fit the personnel already in place.

Yep and some believe he saved Hawaii football.
