If the Utes are capable of beating #6 Kentucky, then they have a chance to beat SDSU. Vegas has us -7 pt favorites and a win would give us 4 Q1 wins on top of an unbeeaten record.

Good win against Florida and i certainly hope Queta's injury isn't serious. I don't know how well florida will do but i don't think they are going to make the ncaa tournament unless they make a run in their conference.

Utah State > BYU > Utah
Because of injuries

I had the unfortunate experience of watching it on the pac 12 network. The amount of nut riding the commentators are giving the Utes while disrespecting SDSU was hilarious. SDSU destroying the Utes who's projected to finish 4th in the pac 12.

That basically wraps up our non conference schedule since cal poly is 2-9 and we play them at our place. That's 4 Q1 win. This blowout win should get us to #15-#16 after this weekend. These weren't just wins, but all of them were neutral or road games and most of them were by blowout. At this point, SDSU is playing for seeding.

I hope USU takes at least 1 game against SDSU while managing a decent record. That way the MWC would be a 2 bid ncaa tournament conference

Utes and BYU are basically guaranteed to get in the ncaa tournament(unless the Utes manages to lose 9-10 more times from here on to selection sunday. Based off resume or head to head, both teams ARE better than USU

Trolling aside, this is a great comment. Utes aren't a great/consistent team, but they've got a lot of talent. A good win, for sure. Very sad that a team that beat Kentucky was so handily demolished to someone who barely squeaked out the W against SJSU. And so surprising that SJSU (of all the MWC teams) did so well in the games against both our schools.

Hopefully all your wins stay as Q1. Regardless, here's to seeing you guys rise in the rankings!

Utah is picked 9th in the pac 12. The only projection is your projection that we care.

Yeah, this dude is a clown, but I cheer for SDSU in every game out of conference, just like all MW teams. Right now the MW looks like a 2 bid league. SDSU is a pretty solid lock. USU and UNM still have work to do, although USU is probably closer. Utah is not a bubble team at this point and likely won't make the tournament. Not sure about BYU... Likely a similar situation with them competing against St. Mary's for an at-large.

at this point, i'm not even worried. SDSU went 12-0 in non conf. They don't need to win the MWC regular season or the MWC tournament to get in. not gonna lie to you, if SJSU had won that game, that would've demolished our chances of getting in.

The resumes of the 4 Q1 teams SDSU beat has a good enough resume to get an at large bid. (presuming of course they don't get like 9-10 or more losses. A 14 loss BYU team probably won't get in, but a 12-13 loss BYU can probably put them on the right side of the bubble.
