I knew we were in trouble when we got a point stolen from us on a 3 pointer where Anderson was 2 feet behind the line. That kind of stuff only happens to us against BYU and it was apparent from that moment and with each passing minute after that clear injustice not being corrected, that we were destined to lose by a minimum of 1 point.

And then when they counted Barcellos 2 as a 3 I knew we were toast. Fix that one and not the earlier one. :bs:

Also, knew we were in trouble when the bald ref started calling ticky tac fouls on Bean. We needed him to be in the whole game.

That was just the icing on the cake, stopping our quick in bounds with their defense off balance and give them a time out to set up their D

Agree! The illegal screen they called on Bean was horrible. He was set and waiting. That was the difference in the game imo. We missed Bean big time.

This happens when you are cursed. The curse of the apology lives on. We have been the better team than byu for back to back years yet don't have a win to show for it. It took 86 years for the Red Sox to get out of their curse and the Cubs 108 to end the BIlly Goat curse. Hopefully it won't take that long for us.

The results on a neutral court of less than 24 hrs ago tend to show otherwise.

Like, it sucks, but its hard to argue we have a better team than BYU after just losing to them on a neutral court.

Fair enough, but teams lose to inferior teams all the time. Duke lost to Stephen F Austin. Nobody actually thinks Stephen F Austin is a better team than Duke over the course of the year, they just were for that one night.

Four points on a neutral court where the game was decided in the last couple of minutes doesn't tell me that one team is better than the other. What I saw were two evenly matched teams that could have a different result if they played a second time.

We were in trouble due to poor shooting, particularly in the last 4 or 5 minutes when it seemed we couldn't have hit a bull in the butt with a bucket of rice.

It was a good game. It just tilted the wrong way at the end.
