Re: Elelyon Noa is an Aggie....
That’s great. Some are speaking of how exciting the 2020 class of recruits is. Can someone give us a recap as to why it is an exciting class?

Great get!!! While I still have reservations about some aspects of the new Andersen era, recruiting isn’t one of them. They seem to be killing it on the recruiting trail.

Understand this was a long shot, so my question would be who did we beat to land this young man? Hats off to Gary Andersen and the AGGIE recruiting staff.

Re: Elelyon Noa is an Aggie....
Do we think that Noa will compete for a role this coming season or will he red shirt? Also in terms of running ability/style is he more like Warren or Bright? Aside from being banged up a lot this year I thought Warren did well. Bright had a super solid year and his production will be missed. Can Noa fill in for Bright or is Nawahine more in line to take that role?

Yes, and the big trade off is that Elelyon will have a chance to graduate with an education and his brother Ezekial will just hold a degree.

Re: Elelyon Noa is an Aggie....
I thought it was interesting that his brother told him to go to the school that wanted him most.
That really speaks to me that we out recruited the other teams.
Love it.

Re: Elelyon Noa is an Aggie....
I really like Enoch Nawahine (who also has a brother at Boise State) BUT Elelyon Noa is now at worst, the #2 RB on this team.Aggie84025 wrote: ↑December 5th, 2019, 1:11 pmDo we think that Noa will compete for a role this coming season or will he red shirt? Re: Elelyon Noa is an Aggie....
high school career average is 9 yrds a carry for 55 td's pretty damn impressive. Sr. season was only lower because of injury otherwise he'd basically have back to back 2,000 yard seasons. Not to mention he plays in an extremely good league in San Diego.aggies22 wrote: ↑December 5th, 2019, 2:46 pmCheck out this stat line!

Re: Elelyon Noa is an Aggie....
Seems like a very balanced back. Not the fastest guy on the field but you can see his intelligence when he runs. He knows when to be patient, wait for his blocks to set up and to look for a hole and then on other plays you can see him just take the ball and hit that hole hard. Very good pick up for us.Madmartigan wrote: ↑December 5th, 2019, 1:21 pmBehold his running style:Aggie84025 wrote: ↑December 5th, 2019, 1:11 pmDo we think that Noa will compete for a role this coming season or will he red shirt? Couple of questions. What high school league does he play in and is that one of the larger classes of HS football? Second is was he injured this year as his stats are like half of what they were last year?aggies22 wrote: ↑December 5th, 2019, 2:46 pmCheck out this stat line!

I think he did get injured this season because his senior highlights only show 5 games and he notes that in the title of the videoAggie84025 wrote: ↑December 5th, 2019, 3:38 pmCouple of questions. Helix is 1-AA classification. I believe that is one of the larger classifications in the State. Elelyon missed the second half of the season with an ankle injury.Aggie84025 wrote: ↑December 5th, 2019, 3:38 pmCouple of questions. Seems like a great guy from his interview. Seems like he has great support from his family. Did he break his ankle or did he tear some ligaments?
