We were up by 4 with 4 minutes to go. I would not call that a complete collapse. Now the game against Pacific 15 years ago being up by 7 in the final minute, now that was an epic collapse.

Up 65-61 with 4:25 left and blew it from there.

Losing guys on defense, bad shots and turnovers on offense. Anderson wasn’t able to take pressure off Sam.

Collapse is an overstatement. LSU collapsed against us, we didn't collapse tonight.

I dint know how to check who was in the floor, but we seemed to collapse once Porter came back in. I’m not trying to pile on, the other thread is doing that just fine. Just checking to see if my memory is correct.

After the no call collision under the hoop, Sam seemed hobbled a little and a little slower.

He for sure did and this ankle has been hampering most of the season. Hopefully against SJSU we can build a big lead and he can rest for half the game. He should rest the week the week from Fresno to BYU and not even play against St. Katherine.

The wheels seemed to start falling off when Porter got trapped in the corner then threw it away leading to a fast break dunk. I was screaming for a TO when he got trapped, but somehow my screams didn't penetrate the ether.

That is a solid point question can the coach call the timeout from the sidelines or does the timeout have to be called by a player on the court if the coach can call the timeout Smith should have been screaming for time out right there to save that possession?

Smith typically lets the guys play through adversity. He doesn't call many timeouts in those situations. I was happy with the game overall. We had a lot of people out. That totally changed the dynamic of the team. St. Mary made some big shots down the stretch to take control. They beat us straight up.

What do you mean we got the TO (TurnOver) that you clamored for. Everyone knew once he went back to baseline he didn't have anywhere to go and it would be a turnover. He should have just put up a wild shot and hoped for a lucky basket or Bean to rebound.
