Re: Young
He wasn't even dressed the last time I saw him on the sidelines. Not sure if he suffered an injury or what but he never even got to appear in his 4 games.
I liked his tape and how hard he hit. It was reported he was pretty raw and limited in his football IQ due to previous coaching.

Re: Young
I don't think he has dressed for any games. He was a for sure red shirt this year. As you said he was very raw with only playing 3 years or so of organized football. I just liked his raw talent and was curious as to why he would already be transferring.

Re: Young
I'm hoping to dig something up. I think he was a little over his head at the FBS level, to be honest. He was a bit of a reach when we signed him.

Re: Young
This is true. He got here and they were hoping he would back up Woodward but he quickly slid down the depth chart once fall camp started.Aglicious wrote: ↑November 25th, 2019, 1:31 pmHe wasn't even dressed the last time I saw him on the sidelines. I noticed he hobbled off the field at one point in time and never returned.taniataylor wrote: ↑November 25th, 2019, 2:27 pmI know we're talking about Young here, but uhhh where the heck was Savon this game? I didn't want to start a new topic -

Was he on scholarship or walk-on? If he was on scholarship at least that opens up another spot for someone.aggies22 wrote: ↑November 25th, 2019, 2:00 pmThis is true. Re: Young
From what I'm beginning to gather, there is some bitter feelings surrounding this departure.

Re: Young
The bigger story of the day is that nick sessions switched his commitment to Oklahoma state today.

Re: Young
Did he announce this in a tweet with the phrase "respect my decision" in there? Because if not, I certainly shan't respect his decision.

Re: Young
He is starting as a freshman at RB for one of the best teams in the state. I don’t have a problem with that offer. Oh by the way, he lives in Bountiful. He was recruited to play at East.

Re: Young
Noah Young a Sophomore J C transfer from Gulf Breeze Fl. 6'3" L B who could really hit people but didn't see much upside at USU. It will be enlightening to hear the story about his departure.... disappointing to see someone with his physical assets choose to leave.

Re: Young
Is it normal to see so many transfers before the last game of the season?

Re: Young
With the introduction of the Transfer Portal, I think it's become more common. We were too busy winning last year to have anyone disgruntled enough to leave.
