The Utah Royals were eliminated from the playoffs but ended the regular season with a solid 2-1 win over Houston

Bottas takes first and Hamilton takes third in the Japanese Grand Prix, securing the constructors championship for Mercedes. Ferrari had been making some good gains in recent races, but it was a bad race for Leclerc and it has really just been too late in the season with the dominance Mercedes showed through the first half.

I'm not a huge NFL fan, my family is all Rams Crazy, my dad is a Chargers fan, my young son is a Tennessee Titans fan (long story) and I typically follow KC because that's my ancestral homeland. Anyway I was disappointed to see the Chiefs and Titans lose yesterday. Bummer.

Park City 47
Cedar Valley 7

Park City earns the outright region championship, staying perfect on the year at 7-0 in league play and 10-0 overall. Not bad for a Ski Resort City! I'm guessing these guys could very well be 4A champs this year.

Really sad to see the decline in Logan High football. Hopefully they can turn it around for next year.

Ridgeline 36
Logan 35 (OT) - seems like a pretty good game, but Logan finishes 2-7 (don't Utah Schools play a 10 game regular season schedule?).

That's what I thought too, but that's the last game I could find of theirs.

Probably just as well. My HS alma only has 9 games because one of the teams in the conference dropped to 8 man before the start of the season. YIKES :(

Rio Vista lost at home to league foe Linden 33-32. What a heartbreaker. Now they are 1-2 in league. That doesn't bode well.

Copper Hills High School took 4th in D2 had 4 racers on the podium for the Utah High School Cycling League Mountain Biking State Championships in Cedar City this weekend. It was tough to miss an Aggie game, but I love these high school mtn bike races and it’s so fun to watch these kids give it their all and improve/achieve individually and as a team.

HUGE playoff win for RSL in the first round Saturday night over Portland in the rain and snow we were expecting to have in Logan that night. I was at the game against Nevada, obviously, but I kept frantically checking the score to see if it was gonna go to extra time, but an 87th minute stunner was the difference.

RSL will travel to Seattle for the semifinals on Wednesday
