Crap, that's no good. Hopefully he treats the cancer like he treated Taysom Hill.

Brian was a baller, I loved watching him play. Hopefully he can pull through this. It is sad to think of this happening to him. He can only be like ~28 years old.

Re: Brian Suite
Many stage 4 malignancies, particularly of young men, are indeed curable. Lymphomas and testicular carcinomas come immediately to mind (Lance Armstrong a well known example of testicular cancer with brain metastasis).
Re: Brian Suite
Really pulling for him. He just lost his father to cancer as well a few months ago.

Re: Brian Suite
Brutal news and so early in life. A good friend of mine has been diagnosed with cancer and he evaluated the potential options and chose a specific laser protocol. I will have more information as he discusses this new method for using a laser eviscerating cancer cells as the result become available. Medical science has advanced so far and so effectively in the fight against cancer.

Re: Brian Suite
Good thoughts coming his way from this Aggie. Apparently he has an extremely rare form of cancer (can't recall the name---less than 1% of 1% of all cancers). Can't believe he lost his dad. (He was the picture of health in a photo Brian's senior year.) Wishing the best for Brian Suite. He was such a great player. Played tough with a lot of pain (shoulder) his last year, IIRC. He was a great athlete and player for us. He sure had a knack for tackling a certain very athletic running QB from the TDS.

Maybe no GoFundMe (yet), but here's a notice to a fundraiser event to help support them in this fight: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/tackle-can ... 5420951095

Re: Brian Suite
Wow that is brutal. I graduated from USU in 2015, got a job a few months later, and withing a month of having my job got diagnosed with testicular cancer. I was lucky, it was still stage zero, but now whenever putz says that he would give his left nut to see the Aggies win a big game, I feel kind of jealous because that is something I am no longer able to consider doing. The impact of my cancer on my life was minimal, I didn't have to do anything other than surgery. I know others who weren't so lucky. I hope the best for Brian.

Re: Brian Suite
Done. Lost a friend to sarcoma a couple of years ago and I hate to see it affecting yet another Aggie family.
You can win this battle, Suite.
Spare what you can, Aggie fans. You won't miss it and you can't take it with you!

Re: Brian Suite
While it IS very exciting to see how many ex-teammates are chipping in if we are going to champion dollar amounts, let's give props to former backfield mate McKade Brady for donating $500, Chuckie Keeton for donating $1000, former walk-on LB Travis Swann donating for $1000 and two individuals who chose to not be named for donating $2,500 apiece. All in all, it's really encouraging to see such an outpouring of support for a really good dude!AndroidAggie wrote: ↑October 22nd, 2019, 1:55 pmi freaking love jake doughtyJake Doughty donated $500

It's a pretty personal decision to donate so I don't fault anyone for declining, even if they 'have the money.'
But that's rad of the other folks.
