Would you rather the game be
Another heartbreaker like auburn, Wisconsin, don’t want to mention the other games, or; lose to LSU by 20+? Personally I would want to show the nation we could compete with any other team but i think we probably going to get blown out. Now let me know your opinions

Re: Would you rather the game be
Well, being a USU fan I'd obviously prefer they play as well as possible and that this game be close as possible to USU getting blown out.
Not to be rude, but literally every Aggie fan would prefer this game be close as opposed to a blowout.

Re: Would you rather the game be
I want it to be close. Jordan to have a great game. I want media attention. ESPN to talk about Upset alerts. People changing channels to our game cause its the best game going on. People to say "Utah State looks good" not even "LSU looks bad."

Re: Would you rather the game be
I want it to be like the game five years ago yesterday. USU a heavy underdog on the road but finds a way to win. Go Aggies!

Re: Would you rather the game be
I had an Auburn fan mention the game to me yesterday, so obviously the close games have a bigger impact. It would do a lot more towards gaining national attention/respect than a 20+ loss would. I would prefer a close game.

Obviously we should play to win always, the old saying there are no moral victories is not necessarily true, you go into a top ranked big time SEC schools house and give them a scare, people will respect the hell out of you.

Re: Would you rather the game be
"I would like to see us get blown out" Said no Aggie fan ever. What the hell kind of question? If we somehow win, we jump into the top 15 where we would belong with such a win. Even if we play them close, we probably get more votes with the exposure and realization that our two losses were close road losses to a top 5 and a top 20 team.

Re: Would you rather the game be
If we're going to get "blown out" hopefully we'll just start subbing in and out liberally to keep the starters fresh for the next game. But no, we wont be.

Re: Would you rather the game be
I dunno, sometimes after a game that we lost in spectacular Aggie fashion, i would sometimes wish it were a blowout loss instead, but that is always after the game, never before.

Re: Would you rather the game be
I think I’d prefer to lose by 7-10 points. Obviously first choice is a win. But those close losses are so tough. We’ve been talking about how we should have beat Auburn for 8 years now. If that game was close and we had a chance to win, that’s different from we had it in the bag and figured out a way to lose.

Re: Would you rather the game be
I rather see them go out and play like any other game, they did it for Michigan St last yr and Wake this yr, may not have gotten the win but they fought all 4 quarters

Re: Would you rather the game be
This question is best suited for BYU games (football and basketball). I ALWAYS prefer to see BYU get blown out but if it's not going to be a blow out I like to see them lose a heart breaker.

Re: Would you rather the game be
This game should be closer than the +28 USU is given. Preparing the Aggies for very hard P5 games is Anderson’s strength as a coach. This will be close and competitive at least for a half.

Re: Would you rather the game be
The heartbreak absolutely sucks but how great is the ride in each of those games? Aside from national recognition, rankings, etc. it’s still worth it just for the entertainment value. I don’t know about everyone else, but that why I love the games!
