Re: Schedule of televised games
So, those of us relying on YouTube TV won't be able to watch the Wyoming game on 2/19, will we?

I thought that YouTube TV allowed you to sign in to ESPN3 does it not?BigBlueDart wrote: ↑September 11th, 2019, 2:22 pmSo, those of us relying on YouTube TV won't be able to watch the Wyoming game on 2/19, will we?
Also, lost in all of this is that we got tip-off times for most of the televised games and most of them are pretty late. Prepare for some 9:00 Tuesday night tipoffs in Logan. The schedule page has all of the tipoff times that were announced.

ESPN3 games work for me with YouTube Tv. Just have to sign in through their app

Re: Schedule of televised games
I thought I read that Youtube TV dropped ESPN 3 access (or vice-versa) a few weeks ago. I haven't tested it, myself.

Re: Schedule of televised games
I think you are mistaken BBD. I logged in and watched stuff with my YouTubeTV access as recently as last week.

Huh... that's weird. Maybe they backed off on it?

Re: Schedule of televised games
My least favorite part of the schedule at this point is December 7 vs. Fresno St. tipping off at 4 pm. If (hopefully when) we make the Mountain West football championship game that is scheduled for a 2 pm kickoff. Horrible having even the possibility of being in that game and having a time conflict between football and basketball.
I also don't like the 9 pm Tuesday night tipoffs (4 of them with 2 home and 2 away).

[If the Aggies were in the MW championship game I will be super happy. The Tuesday 9PM games are not ideal, but when you have a successful previous year there are going to be some of those. Overall the Aggies are going to get a lot of coverage and will happen plenty of chances to showcase the spectrum with hopefully a top 25 team. If we can start strong and gain momentum this could be a really special year.]

Re: Schedule of televised games
If we're playing in the MW Championship then they may change the basketball game. If we have the MW Championship game at home then they'd pretty much be forced to change the tip off time for basketball.Bigd23 wrote: ↑September 11th, 2019, 7:38 pmMy least favorite part of the schedule at this point is December 7 vs. Fresno St. tipping off at 4 pm. Re: Schedule of televised games
It turns out that you get WatchESPN for any televised games, but NOT ESPN3. Unless your internet service provide includes ESPN3. I have YoutubeTV which gives me all the networks on WatchESPN, and I have Xfinity internet that is giving me ESPN3.BigBlueDart wrote: ↑September 11th, 2019, 3:46 pmHuh... that's weird. So if you have something like crappy CenturyLink paired with YouTubeTV you may not get ESPN3.

Is it just me or is this A LOT more games on national tv than we’ve ever had?

Re: Schedule of televised games
I don't remember having this many. All but 1 conference game is on TV and the one that isn't is on ESPN3. Only one other conference game isn't on national TV.Cheecho6 wrote:Is it just me or is this A LOT more games on national tv than we’ve ever had?

Re: Schedule of televised games
None of those games fall under our TV contract so they'll be announced once those teams or game hosts announce them. I suspect that all of those will be televised somewhere.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑September 11th, 2019, 10:33 pmNo TV for SMC, BYU, So. Fla., or Fla.? Or is that announced later?

Re: Schedule of televised games
It seems like every game last year (including the less exciting early non-conference home games) was at least streamed on the MW Network (Stadium app). Are we to assume no streaming for Weber St., Denver, or NC A&T?

In Comparison, we were on TV 12 times last year. What a difference a Good run and expectations make!

Technically that included UC Irvine. If you watched that game streaming.... well the construction cam game had a much much higher product.ineptimusprime wrote:It seems like every game last year (including the less exciting early non-conference home games) was at least streamed on the MW Network (Stadium app). Re: Schedule of televised games
Every game was streamed last year except for the Exhibition game (which was actually streamed by a fan on periscope to the Athletic Department's dismay).ineptimusprime wrote: ↑September 12th, 2019, 8:57 amIt seems like every game last year (including the less exciting early non-conference home games) was at least streamed on the MW Network (Stadium app).
