Re: Bubble watch
Indiana beats Wisconsin to get to 14-14 on the season and they are very much back in the bubble picture.

Bubble watch
They have 6 Q1 wins but are 0-5 vs Q2. Very weird.
Sos is 38. Their average win blows ours away, but they have more losses that are head scratchers.

Yes and a .294 team in conference play.... unless they have some studs that were injured and didn't play during the majority of their losses, it would be a tragedy if they get an at-large.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑February 26th, 2019, 10:05 pmSuch a freaking joke. A .500 team on the bubble.

Re: Bubble watch
I don't think they have had any big injuries....Romeo Langford is their star player projected to be a lottery pick and he has played almost every game. I think a team like Indiana who consistenly gets a chance to play power 5 teams and/or ranked teams and consistently loses, especially in conference play, should not be higher on the bubble than teams like USU, UCF, VCU, Belmont, etc. They did get a win vs #20 Iowa tonight, but like 2 weeks ago, they went on like a 8 game losing streak. I am not saying these mid major teams would beat them in a one on one matchup, but a team that consistently loses when given the chance does not deserve an NCAA tourney at large bid. If they are "that good," then they should win the BIG10 and get the automatic bid.Pacobag wrote: ↑February 26th, 2019, 10:33 pmYes and a .294 team in conference play.... unless they have some studs that were injured and didn't play during the majority of their losses, it would be a tragedy if they get an at-large.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑February 26th, 2019, 10:05 pmSuch a freaking joke. Re: Bubble watch
Scott Van Pelt on Sportscenter was just given three choices of teams with different metrics. He chose team 2............revealed as Utah State! We deserve to be in the tourney. The team has earned it.

Re: Bubble watch
Indiana is back into a tie for 11th place in the Big Ten, so I can see why there is buzz about this team these days.

Re: Bubble watch
If the NET means anything year one, there's no way we shouldn't get an 11/12 seed at worst. 11 in SLC would be ideal
It would be a joke for them to come out with this new rating system and then ignore it immediately when the resumes are similar

Re: Bubble watch
My thoughts on this is that NCAA tournament level W-L record + NCAA tournament level NET ranking puts us in.MetsJetsAggies wrote: ↑February 26th, 2019, 11:52 pmIf the NET means anything year one, there's no way we shouldn't get an 11/12 seed at worst. 11 in SLC would be ideal

This is a composite NCAA Tourney projection from 103 sites. This helps us know who to root against this week in order for USU to solidify its place in the NCAA tourney. The results are through Feb. 26th.
