Chat problem on safari

It says the plug-in is blocked even when I download the newest Java. Not the best with computers so I am sure it is user error. Any tips or suggestions?

Something you have must be blocking Java from running. You running any anti-virus/firewall software?

Figured it out. I guess apple blocked use of that version of Java. Saturday I will use firefox if oracle does not update. Thanks

That's why I don't buy Apple. I don't like people telling me how to use my computer/tablet/cell phone.
