Mark Harlan reprimanded and fined
$40,000. No big surprise here. The call was right, and I don't see athletic directors do that all that often. Coaches are more frequent offenders.
They said he will face more severe penalties if this happens again. I doubt Taylor Randall is very happy about this either, particularly after doing the sportsmanship video with Shane Reese.

“Mark’s comments irresponsibly challenged the professionalism of our officials and the integrity of the Big 12 Conference,” said Brett Yormark. “There is a right way and a wrong way to voice concerns. Unfortunately, Mark chose the wrong way. Accordingly, this violation warrants a public reprimand and financial penalty. The Big 12 Conference prioritizes professionalism, integrity, and fairness, and will continue to do so.”

This seems contrary to what his boss stated over the course of several days prior to the game.

Utah should consider leaving the B12 and returning to the PAC12, they'd never have to schedule ybu again, and we can both ignore them together.

Re: Mark Harlan reprimanded and fined
Reportedly, Utah is the reason why the PAC-12 fell apart in the first place. One of their professors came up with a metric that the PAC-12 deserved more much more than the $25-30 million they offered post USC/UCLA leaving. ESPN walked, and the Big XII signed a contract for around that amount.
Then no one would even offer that amount, and George Kliavkoff found Apple TV for around $20 million or something, so Washington and Oregon walked to the 1/2 distribution the B1G was offering.
Utah made a lot of this mess on their own, KW was predicting Utah in the B1G in a few years, and so many of their fans thought they would dominate the "step down" from the PAC-12. Personally, they are getting what they deserve, and I don't even care that BYU is beating them after what they have done and attitude since their fortuitous invite to the PAC a decade and a half ago.
