A Day of Giving: October 10-11, 2024

Hey all,

I just saw an email today. The "A Day of Giving" campaign is on October 10 and 11, but you can donate early.

Let's support our Pac-12 Aggies! This morning, I donated to my degree-granting colleges, some academic and ancillary programs, and Women's Soccer.

I gave $100 to women's soccer, and I'll officially commit to this for women's soccer:

$500 - MW Championship and/or NCAAT Appearance
$1,000 - Sweet Sixteen Appearance
$2,000 - Elite Eight Appearance
$4,000 - Final Four Appearance
$5,000 - National Championship Won

So this is happening today.

On a related note, does anyone know if they are doing the online Aggie auction this year? Seems like the past few years they have done it in the middle of October.

I would pay good money for that fire extinguisher. Probably, a lot of people would. I assume it's still just sitting there... it would probably be a pretty hit item in the auction.

Do we know if there's going to be a silent auction this year?

I'm wondering if Diana took the axe to it. I've really liked it in years past, so I'd be about 39% bummed out by this if it were the case.

It looks like 2023's auction was from October 12-19: https://e.givesmart.com/events/xu0/

Maybe it's getting progressively later every year. I haven't seen any communication on it, and I don't see anything on the website.
