Apparently, the Spectrum and the Mav are like the Tardis...LarryTheAggie wrote: βJanuary 12th, 2024, 8:26 pm"The HURD is obviously spectacular and how they come out in just hundreds of thousands for games."
And we have more students enrolled than I thought...

Maybe she said "hundreds and thousands" and it got misquoted?LarryTheAggie wrote: βJanuary 12th, 2024, 8:26 pm"The HURD is obviously spectacular and how they come out in just hundreds of thousands for games."

Re: Q and A with the AD
I take anything said about planning to be somewhere for a long time with a grain of salt. When jobs at bigger schools are open, I'll believe her NOT going to that respective school when the position is filled with someone else.

I know what the article says, but it is dated. From what I understand, most schools and most MW schools provide this money. Also, from what I heard, Diana was kind of shocked we were not doing it. We will not be providing $6000 to student athletes or even close. I think it will be closer to $1000 or slightly less, but still trying to figure it out.

Re: Q and A with the AD
J Love is on the verge of signing a very lucrative contract extension with the Packers. Sometimes a player in that situation will include a clause that provides funding to an alma mater. Any chance we could influence Love to get the Packers to provide some funding to USU as part of that extension? May be a way to establish an endowment for perpetual Alston funding for Athletics.
