Re: Haha Jazz fans
I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited about Jazz basketball in November. Such a fun team to watch.

Re: Haha Jazz fans
If the Jazz don't have any injuries or trades that make them worse this year, I could see them winning the same number of games this season as last season.
With the trades they made, the draft picks they have, that's pretty great. I know, I know, what about the lottery? Well, here are some great players picked in the mid- to late-draft (and where they were picked):
Paul George (10)
Kawhi Leonard (15)
Klay Thompson (11)
Jimmy Butler (30)
Draymond Green (35)
Giannis Antetokounmpo (15)
CJ McCollum (10)
Rudy Gobert (27)
Nikola Jokic (41)
Zach LaVine (13)
Devin Booker (13)
Pascal Siakam (27)
Donovan Mitchell (13)
Bam Adebayo (14)
Here's the list of great players taken 1 to 9:
Anthony Edwards (1)
Lamelo Ball (3)
Zion Williamson (1)
Ja Morant (2)
Luka Doncic (3)
Trae Young (5)
Jason Tatum (3)
De'Aaron Fox (5)
Ben Simmons (1)
Brandon Ingram (2)
Jaylen Brown (3)
Karl-Anthony Towns (1)
D'Angelo Russell (2)
Joel Embiid (3)
Anthony Davis (1)
Bradley Beal (3)
Damian Lillard (5)
Kyrie Irving (1)
Yes, the list 1 to 9 is a bit longer, and may have better overall quality, but there are question marks in both lists (are they really that good?). I guess my point is this - the lottery isn't the end-all-be-all. Sure there's a better chance of hitting on a great player with picks 1 to 9, but great players can still be had later and the Jazz could still add a star or two picking later.

The Mitchell trade that could have happened vs the trade that did happen. The could have happened players win this round.
